Drawing with Music

I personally listen to a lot of vapor-wave esk stuff, chillhop or pop. Something relaxing.

Examples being Nujabes, Joji, DJ Okawari, etc.

Usually jazz, sometimes something different, like yesterday I was listening to Flower Travelling Band - Satori, it's a nice heavy psychedelia album form Japan.
Some krautrock can be good, ambient or minimal, ambient or dub techno can work well for some.
Usually it's good if the music has some repetition, maybe an ethereal atmosphere, being a bit ambienty or fuzzy, so some shoegaze maybe if it's your thing.

That's why I try typically to listen to songs that have very little words or lyrics. So I don't really have to ponder their meaning or what they're even saying in the first place.

My music choices for drawing are so mixed that Sweden would be proud of me.
But I like to listen to classical, dark jazz, jazz, ska jazz, ska, dub, folk, post rock, dark ambient, chillout, chillstep, vaporwave and soundtracks.

joji is nice, got me into tomppabeats, nujabes, raybaboon, eery, and vaporwave which I now in turn draw to most of the time. I can pretty much draw to anything depending on my mood or what I am drawing. Ghost (ghost bc), queen, death, and nirvana are bands that I used to listen to all the time while drawing.
