Sell your tablet, that's my advice.
use a pencil and paper
how do draw a perfect circle,
like this one.
>>2764054
Draw a loomis head, get ride of the superfluous.
>>2764054
just use a tool, we're not living on a pre civilizied society anymore.
>>2764056
what if my loomis head is as lopsided as the family budget?
I want to start porn commissions. I have a good level at painting, but i'm not a pro with anatomy from imagination. I usually use references ( I don't copy tho, I just use them ). My question is : Can I use some random porn pictures for references ? Do I have to credit the photographer ?
(picture isn't my work)
>>2764878
Jesus Christ that perspective and genital anatomy...
Ask in the porn thread
>>2764880
Also to answer OP:
>Can I use some random porn pictures for references ? Do I have to credit the photographer?
Nope, porn photographers are lowest of the bunch and anyway, nobody will recognize shit from millions of porn images.
Also if anybody would ever ask in unfathomable chain of events you'd say that you only wanted to paint a tribute or something.
Goddamn, you can't be such a pussy, especially if you are one man firm aka artists that aims higher than he shits.
Also 6GB HD porn out of piratebay is your friend
Any exercises for improving my lines in different angles? I can get pretty good lines from a left to right motion, and from an down to up one, but any other angles make my lines shit.
>>2766150
spin the drawing so that you can get a better position to draw you lines.
>>2766155
if I'm a poorfag with a 27" monitor and a tiny wacom bamboo tablet with no money to upgrade or buy paper/pens could I still practise my fundamentals?
>>2766171
lol, no. Your wrist and fingers can only get so 'dexterous'. Practicing "fundamentals" with them would be dumb af desu. Pick up a pencil and paper.
Is this art?
are these threads reportable yet?
>>2766072
Is this from Yu-gi-oh?
>>2766112
Nah, looks like Buddyfight or Vanguard (I haven't paid much attention to card games in a while though).
I wish Yu-Gi-Oh released full-sized art of their cards, the recent ones especially look beautiful.
does anyone know of any good books on anatomy, the first guy to say Loomis is invited to stop and suggest something we haven't heard of
>>2764773
Loomis: Figure Drawing for All Its Worth is a great book. Have you looked into it?
>>2764773
Bridgman, Peck, Bammes, Hampton
thanks annons
Hi everyone
This is my first time posting on this board, so here goes. I've been drawing all my life here and there but nothing half decent. All of the half-decent stuff I drew so far was me tracing like a prick, so I can't say I have any real skill so far. I've decided to start it up seriously and hopefully become actually good at it. So yeah. This is just a thread for me to say "hi" and show you some shit I've drawn so far so you can laugh at it or whatever.
Also I do all my stuff in MS paint because I'm literally an autist and I like the pixels and bright colours :-)
Draw diversity.

Can you stop trying to push your political cult onto me ?
K thanks.
>>2766291
Oh I see I appologise I forgot to insert my governmental dildo in my tight white girly ass. I appologise again and will murder 10 white people hopefully that will appease my horrific racism.
>>2766293
Listen.
It's Monday. I think it's pretty sad that you're spending your time trying to push a political philosophy onto an arts board instead of doing something more useful with your time.
Right now I'm working on assignments and trying to make a future. Yet you type on your computer about black and brown people.
Pretty sad.
I'm pretty confindent with pencils and such, but recently I got a giano tablet - now I stare at a blank canvas and have no idea what to do. It feels alien and by far it's the most frustrating thing I've had to deal with. I've been messing with it for a while but now it's
>draw a turd
>polish it until giving up
Ctrl+paint has been somewhat helpful and I'm trying to read into Scott's How to render book, but if you could describe for me (and each other) your basic workflow or some tips on how to slide into it, I'd be very grateful.
>>2766265
>daily digital sketches
>learn the interface
Do the sketches to get a feel for digital and so you have a record of your improvement and a way to fuck around with what you're learning. Watch the ass basic video tutorials the company of your program of choice puts out to learn the features and what all of them actually do. Then watch and read all the quick tips for specific brushes and basic workflow setups you can find so you have an idea of different ways to do everything and can get the system to do what you want it to. I spent a month on that just to set things up how I like it.
Now you know the program unlike most of the people who use it and can not only easily learn from tutorials, but also call bullshit on blatantly shitty ones.
A friend of mine made this artwork of Zevran (Dragon Age)
If you want to see her other works and leave a like, you can do it here

fuck off shill
What does /ic/ think?
I think this thread is shit.
inspired trash is what fine arts is for
stay away from it, and if you're not an eurocuck, run and save your money
>>2766051
They are both right. Can work either way. Ideally you want to have technical chops and not be soulless or cheesy. The non technical stuff is harder to define and different from person to person though so all you can really do in that regard is be true to yourself and hope similar people find you.
Is Scott Robertson's book valuable outside of drawing vehicles/buildings?
Will it help if I want to learn how to draw people?
>>2765153
yes. it's the best book of it's kind. it's incredibly good.
>>2765153
it's a book on perspective, it'll help you draw people, but you should look elsewhere if you want to learn things like anatomy and gesture
>>2765160
>It is kind
Opinion invalid.
hi can anyone suggest and idea of urbain planning for a terrain of 100*60m2 . It's located in front of a hotel and right next to a main avenue of the city. The idea is to creat a public place with a functional purpose , taking in consideration that it has to be an original idea (meaning no skatepark, stuff like that). And if anyone asking it's for and architecture project
>>2764892
If thats a Muslim state than maybe a place for stoning and beheadings - headed they like those.
MS paint thread
>>2764735
gotta admit anon, I'm feeling pretty advanced rn, painting on a personal computing device
I thought it would be good to have a thread regarding discussing how we each individually learn, what helped us out the most and what exercises we regret spending time on the most.
What are the most important fundamentals to learn, in your opinion, and what do you find most helpful when it comes to study? I think having a discussion about this can help save time or help anons who are struggling to progress on a certain aspect of their art.
>>2763883
>telling you my secrets on learning
There is a reason why all the pros cop out and say "just draw" to artist hopefuls.
>>2763883
All you need to know is Loomis, and Loomis. If you still can't into moe faces that means you're not getting enough Loomis and you need more Loomis.
Smug animu faces are patrician and requires Loomis.
I know shit about the best ways to learn/practice.
But why do so many people draw hundreds of pages of circloid shapes, lines and other "fundamentals" and post them asking how is their progress on figure drawing. This looks so stupid to me.
Go draw what you like and learn to draw nice things and not ugly circles and squares.
