I mean I do have an arm rest on the chair and all, but it's not like I couldn't draw without it and still use my arm. Maybe you're just not used to drawing on a tablet? Because drawing with just the wrist is a lot harder than people make it out to be. I think people overestimate what using the shoulder means.

scott robertson to study and lear perspective laws, then you can even try drawabox course as it already has set some exercices for you to do with orientation

drawing at will a box in the direction, size and place you want in a context requires a brain fitness you're not gonna build in a month, so don't understimate it or you'll find yourself disapointed at your results

perspective knowledge is the base to not just copy perspective from references but to understand it, so you can actualy do your own things making sense

It's really basic stuff and fairly common sense. Just imagine things are made out of like a rubbery material that bends and moves and has weight. You want to avoid things looking rigid. Objects in real life tend to move like this too, just look at any slow motion video to see how it's the case. We don't necessarily pick up on it when it happens so fast, but without it something feels missing. Plus exaggerating it just looks good.

Do some super basic exercises on this practicing several principles at once. The most basic one would be a bouncing ball. After that the flour sack exercise is pretty common.

Drawabox is an excellent free resource which will take you further than any other meme /ic/ recc and will give you in just 2 months what most d/ic/k faggots take years to achieve.

Don't listen to the peanut gallery that draws for 10 minutes once a month then turns to try and degrade and stop YOUR progress, you jump on drawabox and get fucking dank.

Somebody keeps shilling a design and fundies discord which I believe is centered around industrial design and drawabox, you might want to jump in there for help going through it.

Have you considered the 9 inch ipad pro with apple penci? Pretty sure it's cheaper than a cintiq companion.
