What do you guys do with your art? Right now I have a drawer full of sketches on printer paper, binders full of loose leaf doodles, and a pile of large pencil and scratchboard projects. Any cool ways to organize and store art? (aside from hanging them up/framing)
>>2910551
>tfw all my drawers are filled so they just pile up in a corner
Who knew drawing would be so space consuming
I guess this is why digital is superior
>>2910552
I don't like doing digital because it takes too much time for me. I like doing little sketches and stuff when I have some time, though, but yeah it's pretty lame.
>>2910551
I ended up throwing a ton out during a move at one point. Eventually you build up piles and piles of crap. Think I threw out like 20 newsprint pads at least. Now I'm mostly digital though, so it's not an issue. I can't imagine the space physical canvases would take.
Post and criticize

That tit on the right is pointing super far out. Leave it out because people will use their imagine. Oh she's a woman? She'll definitely have tits. Leave it to the viewer to imagine the obvious. It's better to leave out some things than to put it in.

Worked hard on this but had to come up with a quick idea for college please comment on the vid what you think
If you are a /beg/inner in art, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice.
We should not have to make new threads or post in the drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Un petit faux pas by Henri-Guillaume Schlesinger
>wifey has very minor success with online artwork
>only does commissions
>only does furry genre
>makes ~$200 a week from only 4 or 5 recurring clients
So assuming someone has the skill and has gotten gud, how do you make money? I just watched cuckstiny's video on making money online, but his advice is only applicable to people who already have a big fanbase. I see people like sakimichan making a fucking whopping $30,000 to $75,000 a month on patreon ALONE, so I know it should be relatively straightforward to make a fraction of that, say, $1000 a month. Anyone have good advice on building a fanbase? How do you get noticed?
>>2911444
Is there a reason so many people on this board want to live off private commissions? They're so much headache for little pay off. Just get genuinely good and do freelance for companies. You won't have to cater to some weirdo's fetish and will make more.
As for building a fanbase it's just common sense stuff. Post often, do fanart of things that are popular, use tags, and post on several platforms. If you are skilled and have an appealing style you will gain popularity eventually.

>Is there a reason so many people on this board want to live off private commissions?
the path is straight forward and seemingly attainable. Professional NEETs inspire these people.
Have a professional attitude, be polite, put out polished work regularly, and pretend to be a woman. Easy followers.
>tfw you see another artist who obviously used your artwork for reference
someone thought my art was worth referencing, im feel flattered
maybe a good art feels thread?

>depressed as fuck for years
>burnt out after consistently studying for 5-6 hours at a time from hogarth
>become slowly exhausted at the thought of even drawing for fun
>cant draw anything for fun without eventually ending up studying
>own boxes of art supplies, paper, pencils, oils paints, charcoal, etc but never touch them
>start taking antidepressants and sleeping medication
>remember that i love art
>start drawing for fun again
holy shit the passion is back. Sure I regressed a lot and am shittier now but its better than not drawing at all
>>2910729
Do antidepressants really not brainwash you?
>>2910731
There's a pretty big misconception with antidepressants. Im not a zombie or anything, its more like someone upped the saturation slider in my life. I never really realized how hard it was for me to enjoy things. I hate "normie" entertainment and am only entertained by darker humor. This makes it harder to be social, but i honestly think that that isnt such a bad mindset to be in. Thats really just life, most of anything is shit and some of it is pretty good.
Depression making me lose my love of drawing and creating was the final straw for me though.
How do you guys feel about tracing?
>>2887487
it's a good exercise for inking
I think it's funny when tracers try to claim the work is theirs when it's super obvious it isn't
>>2887487
We already have a tracer thread. Next time check the catalog faggot >>2881485
Is using stabilizers a crutch?
These jittery lines will not go away, this wasn't like this before I've tried everything you would normally do like update drivers, downgrade them, reinstall, etc.
The only solution I found is to use a stabilizer and cuck myself.
Now is the moment where you become an artist or a wannabe.
You'll never be as good as him.
