Do you lads listen to anything while drawing/shading/coloring/producing in general? or just sometimes?
Do you feel like you work better with or without music?
Headphone or speakers?
Also if you do, share your music/podcast

Early stages better in silence. Later stages with music. Headphones.

Headphones, and i have a pretty open mind when it comes to music, honestly, it could be local music (argentinian rock, mostly), international rock, classical music, 70s rock, 80s/90s/00s pop, some electronic genre (i think), even some subdivisions of metal (viking?), in fact last night i went through a 30ish mins version of sonic adevnture's ost for city escape

If I wanna train something new music can distract a little bit
I always listem to chillhop, emotional music nothing too hype or aggressive also future funk and classic shit
Headphones if late night, if sooner speakers
When trying to actually create ideas and what not I usually take off my headphones.
Once you get to the routine mechanical part I just play something from my soundcloud, like lofi hiphop or some weeb music.
I listen to only Japanese 80's soft techno when drawing
>Do you lads listen to anything while drawing/shading/coloring/producing in general? or just sometimes?
Yes
>Do you feel like you work better with or without music?
Sometimes it makes feel inspired but I listen to music just to have noise in the background. I just hate silence.
>Headphone or speakers?
Headphones

When I'm sketching & nailing the most important aspects of the drawing, I do it in silence.
Once it's done I choose a fitting song to what I try to convey & follow the rhythm!
i usually listen to music or spooky scary horrorstories on yt (i know they are badly written but hearing someone talk in the bg makes me really motivated)
or i have true crime documentaries on in the bg.
yeah i think i work better with it
headphones
i could not let anyone hear my weeb music

nothing with words/ very chill and relaxing at first
later on when dealing with colors will listen to anything
Jordan Peterson
Styxhexenhammer666
J.T. Sexkik
Any talkie talkie is great
either that or Tokusatsu OPs
Mostly ambient and music without vocals. Tried listening to a podcast a few times, but it's just too distracting.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YONdeDeSgrQ - listenining to this puts me into the grinding mood and makes it feel like i'm just doing my daily drawing quests.
instrumental hip hop or some really chilled jazz rap like pete rock works the best for me, but rather in later stages. It actually feels better to draw without music
Headphones when people around, but if I can I use my hifi connected to my computer or my phone.
Listen radios, some jazz and chill stuff.
Sometimes synthwave to boost myself.
Music is a distraction, I listen to it only when I'm on autopilot while drawing.
I always listen to stuff, preferably podcasts bc I don't need to keep switching songs or mess around with a playlist

I just listen to instrumental remixes of touhou music.
That shit is soothing to the ears.
Anything like this.

Usually listening to a lot of angsty shit while I draw. Though It was a distraction before because I felt I had to keep changing songs and songs are you know 2 to 4 minutes so became a distraction sometimes I just went with Beethoven or Vivaldi you know because they are hour long

Otherwise, silence.
