realistically how hard is it for someone to learn sql if they know nothing about programming or anything like that?
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Oh well, there's plenty of way to develop database application without coding.
If you want to learn, maybe try those tools and see for yourself.
>>
SQL is not about coding but relational databases. You can store data in relations and then combine the data to get certain results. That's what SQL helps you doing.
>>
It was invented with non-technical users in mind, so it should be doable. Depends on what you want to do with it i suppose.

Holy fuck. What can we expect from 600mm2 monsters with HBM2? This release has been pretty disappointing for those that had highrange GPUs from last generation, but huge chips could be insane.

>>55393702
The highend chips are going to be either nonexistant (because of manufacturing problems) or fucking insane (because holy shit 28 to 14/16nm is two nodes).

Literally 4x the hardware they can pack into the same space.
>>
yes

1080 ti/next titan/vega will be silly

get a 480 if you need something right now and wait, then sell it for ~150 for a more mature 14/16 nm card in a year
>>
the GP102 is estimated to be around the 460mm2 ~ 480mm2 range and will be somewhat like the GP100 sans the FP64 cores + ROPs.

Good place to ask I guess;

My old Altec Lansing 251 has been dying for years and I recently attempted to replace it with a Logitech Z533 only to send it back because it sounded like utter shit compared to the 251 set.

The question is, is Logitech terrible or have I just chosen a bad set?

Why are my only choices for a text browser w3m and lynx in 2016?

Both display modern websites horribly, and a large chunk of the web is unusable without javascript.

Why has no neet taken up the cause?

With so many apps breaking out of the browser using stuff like electron is there not a demand for a text html5/css3 engine?

maybe i'm the only one who wants this....

>>
>>55393224
I'm fairly sure there exists a text based browser that can run javascript.
>>
the whole point of HTML5/CSS3 is being able to manipulate visual media even more than before, so you'd have to rephrase that.

So will and discount the 8350 when zen comes out?

Seems rather than waiting for zen specifically one could get an extremely competent setup for dirt cheap if this happens.

Is there any history of this happening?

Hello /g/entoos,

bought an asus E403SA with win 10 yesterday (yes, I know, I'm a cuck but can't into linux and too poor to mac) and I cannot for the life of me get the wifi to work. I've tried switching drivers on the wifi network adapter, spent three hours on google looking for fixes and eventually said fuck it, got drunk and fucked a whore, but that didn't fix my problem.
Any advice, tips on getting the wifi to work? it sometimes connects, sometimes doesn't (I have to reboot it and try again and sometimes it fucking has the decency to connect) but even when it works it's slow as shit.
Currently posting from my relic dell running xp, lent laptop that I have to return which fucking pisses me off because it works like a charm.

Help a fellow neet out, god will reward you.

Download the latest drivers for ethernet/wifi for your current motherboard from the motherboard manufacturer's website from another computer and onto a usb. Then install the drivers on the other computer.
>>
>>55393019
Or look on the asus downloads tab and find the drivers for the e403sa and do the same thing

Can someone tell me how I can run a test on my Windows 10 PC showing that the botnet isn't disabled? I keep hearing claims that it's impossible to stop or disable. So if there is a way to see on my PC that the botnet is still active, I'd love to hear about it.

I am currently running:
Peerblock with MS lists and HTTP blocked
Spybot Anti Beacon with every option checked
disablewintracking.

I am also using a Pfsense router that is on the very latest version, so I can use that for tests.t

Hey /g/
quick question, is a 530w psu from be quiet! enough for a i7 6700k +
Asus Z170-A Mainboard + 2x8GB RAM from Crucial + Asus 970 + 128gb ssd from Samsung enough? My budget doesnt allow me to get a new semi modular PSU right now but only next month.

Before you go >buying a 970 now. I got it when it was brand new but my current cpu is bottlenecking me hard on 144fps.

>>
500W is enough for any single CPU and GPU assuming you aren't doing some stupid OC.
>>
>>55392749
Thanks, Im not planning on doing any OC until I have a brand new PSU.
>>
>>55392769
you can easily OC the CPU to 4.5GHz and even the GPU to whatever it can hit on air cooling.

By stupid OC I mean LN2 cooling and trying to pull a 5.2GHz OC or some shit.

Your CPU is 95w at stock, OC'd it might be able to pull 175w.
Your GPU is 145w, OC'd maybe 200w in worst case scenario.
That's at most ~375w. Add in your other components is another ~50w at most.

So ~425w even OC'd to pretty high levels.
