I've had a problem for a while now on Windows 7. After a while, programs will just stop working. Icon will become generic, and opening it will result in "blank has stopped working". This happens on new installations, old installations, etc.
I'm beginning to think its a problem with the ISO.
Any input?
What antivirus are you running?
>>55392626
Avast. I've tried using that, tried using nothing. The problem most recently happened on a completely fresh install, on a new hard drive, before even using the internet. The ISO is the only thing I can think of at this point, I've been having this problem for a year or two between installations.
Mandatory access controls.
Is there a point to implementing them on a personal mail/web server?
How much cooler does preferring SELinux over Apparmor make you?
>>55392514
Absofuckinglutely my nigga.
I've never used AppArmor, though, so I can't compare it to SELinux.
I couldn't get Apparmor to work.
>>55392988
I've not tried following this one yet, but from previous experience, Digital Ocean howtos are very good

why on clover the captcha is just entering 4 numbers you see and on desktop its this complicated find the correct picture bullshit? What allows clover to use an easier and faster captcha?
That is not a fedora.

Well, the question was directed at someone with a girlfriend so your response wasn't necessary nor was it pleasant to read.
I will always buy Nvidia™ because I only play games The Way It's Meant to be Played™. Nvidia also pioneers innovative new technologies like PhysX™, Gameworks™ and the highest quality driver to ever grace Windows. When I boot up with a brand new Nvidia™ Geforce™, I can experience the game just like it's meant to be played. Nvidia™ also delivers a far more silkysmooth experience. Nvidia Geforce™ is also very power efficient. A graphic card is the most power hungry device in your house. Refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, dish washers, lights, etc all use significantly less power than a graphic card. Which is why Nvidia™ puts gamers first by ensuring that their gaming experience is of the highest quality while looking out for gamers by giving them the most value in their electrical bill. At this point in time, there's really no reasons to consider an AMD graphic card at all. I tried one one time, it caused so much heat that it exploded. It also consumed so much power that it gave on an EMP and destroyed the rest of my computer. Nvidia™ also pioneered how useless GPGPU is with CUDA™. Years ago, everyone thought GPGPU, CUDA™, and OpenCL were the future. Now, Nvidia™ has removed those useless features from their GPUs and increased efficiency. Now you can save thousands a year in electricity thanks to Nvidia™ ensuring that useless features like GPGPU are "optimized" for gamers. It's quite clear that OP's an AMD shill trying to convince you to settle on something less than The Way It's Mean to be Played™. Nvidia™ is the only real way to play games. We have seen recently that they offer incredible libraries for software developers like Nvidia Gameworks. He is probably too poor to afford the Nvidia Geforce Experience and can not afford to play any games The Way It's Mean To be Played™. Don't be a poor gamer with bad drivers and a huge power bill. Play games with the Geforce™ Experience™: The Way It's Mean To Be Played™
that's not funny or clever

Mimi it just works
Clover .
>/g/, repeatedly: OSX is the most usable OS. There are just countless small improvements that make it the most functional and best looking OS available.

Hiya /g/
So I'm in need of a new cellphone. I'm currently using a Moto E 2nd Generation. What I'm looking for is a mid-end cellphone, preferably with a maximum 5" screen. These are some phones I've looked at, I know that the 5X is 5"2' but the pure android is so nice I can disregard it.
I mostly use the phone for listening to music, surfing and calling. I'm looking for a sturdy phone, since I do hiking on my free time.
>>55392089
install gentoo
>>55392089
Redmi 3 Pro has a 5'' screen and is a pretty good deal for the price.
>>55392089
Go with Sony Compacts.
They put up everything you need to do a proper AOSP build https://github.com/sonyxperiadev and the developer portal is pretty top notch http://developer.sonymobile.com
So, why don't you use a One-Time-VM which jumps back to the last snapshot everytime you shut it down?
>VM encryption
>VPN
>Tor
My usage:

>browsing .onions
>Handling maclicous files
>Testing GNU/Linux for myself. If I fuck anything up it jumps back automatically (hey let's try "sudo rm -rf / --no-preserve-root")
Is your ~ persistent? If it isn't, I couldn't be bothered to constantly reinstall everything.
You might as well just run everything in systemd-nspawn unless the stuff you encounter is actually able to exploit the kernel.
>>55392120
I meant reconfigure. But you could as well just make that part of your state.
Well missing performance mostly then.
>>55392120
Nothing is persistent
That's the point
Is there any kind of controversial public repos Github will take down? If so, is there any alternative hosts that are more along the lines of "anything goes"? (aside from hosting your own of course)
>>55391968
Let's make a repo with a software that downloads all repos from github.
I bet they'd take that down.
I've heard gitgud that's ran by some 8ch anons is good. They have a full free speech policy. I just hope they stick to their word and don't start removing repos for being deemed "too leftist" or something like that.
>>55392010
Great, thanks!
So what's up with the terminal fetishism in the Linux community?
I get that some tools in command line are neat and handy, especially if you're doing sysadmin stuff on a connection, but why the hell do you need clumsy command line Webbrowsers or music players or stock market displays, when their gtk or qt equivalents do a much better job AND are easier on the eye? Seems like lots of poser shit to me.
>>55391929
because how are you going to run a program without a gui genius?
>>55391929
Try helping someone with a problem by using the GUI, it's a fucking nightmare.
Do it in the CL and it's easier because of a standard interface and commands for Mac and Linux
fetishism lol
They are easier to use, you can't script gtk and qt shit.
Just disabled ad blocker out of curiosity, and started surfing the world wide web. Couldn't last more than 2 minutes... How do people, who haven't discovered ad blocking yet, do it?
It's... horrible!
:^(
>>55391804
My internet provider disable ads by default since 2009...
- Firefaux has bazillions of users
- Only a small fraction knows/uses adblockers
- Even less people know who to configure them properly
We are the glorious 1%
