>The U.S. military is being accused of installing 'pirated' copies of 3D virtual reality software onto hundreds of thousands of computers without permission.
>According to emails Bitmanagement executives received in 2013, the software had been rolled onto at least 558,466 computers on the Navy’s network, without their permission.
>Installing BS Contact Geo onto a single PC cost roughly $1067 at the time, so Bitmanagement claims that it is entitled to at least $596,308,103 in unpaid licensing fees.
TL;DR: US government sued because the navy torrented 3D software

That's less than 1/600 of the military yearly spending budget. They'll be fine.
>>55664746
Their budgets will be fine.
Their reputation, not so much.
Implying this will ever go anywhere
Can you folks recommend me some solid precision-based mice that come off at a relatively cheap price (>$100)?
G400, g400s and deathadder
G502, G400, Deathadder, etc. Anything with a decent sensor will do fine.
>>55664665
g400s and steelseries rival 100 theres some others two but those are the ones i like the best.

Holy fuck, I should buy that.
200 gigabytes aren't enough for me..
I have a 480gb ssd running on pcie8.
The drive when partitioned by debian is split into 4 120gb drives.
If I could get debian to view it as 1 drive that would work fine but I havent found a way so far.
I tried combining the 4 drives with RAID0 but when i try to install GRUB it only lets me install it to any of the 4 drives.
When I turn the system on, regardless to which of the 4 drives i installed GRUB on, it says theres a boot error.
I don't have any experience with partitioning drives other than my struggle with debian.
Is there a loophole or a work around I could use? Any helps apreciated.
>>55664453
partitions are for faggots, use folders nigger.
>>55664453
Just undo the partitioning?
>>55664802
damn, your dumber than me.
>>55664807
Ive erased all my drives, removed all RAID & LVMs. I try to repartition through debian but it just views my 1 ssd as 4 ssds.
I bought a Galaxy S7 (without the edge screen).
I am upgrading from the S3.
Did I go wrong? Was there better choices?
Nah, it's a good phone.
It has the best hardware out of any android phone right now, but ROM support (CM, AOSP..) won't be very strong on it.
Not really it's a nice phone and the edge is a dumb gimmick that just increases the cost for a meme that's detrimental if anything.
My only problem with the s7 is they tend to come with screens that have a pink/green tint that really annoys the shit out of my eyes. s6 had the same issue.
>>55664318
I'm pretty close to upgrading myself.
Does anybody know what the timing on the S8 is gonna be like?

Is it possible that certain ISPs put a secret speed cap on most of their clients connection and only remove it if the clients start to submit error reports? I think it happened to me with Eastern-Euro ISPs a lot of times along the year.
>>55663909
Depends on the country.
In portugal ISP's have to provide atleast 70% of service promised or else they have to give their customers their money back.
yes i live in 3rd world had to call them when internet slow, they always said unplugged cable modem from power source and suddenly blazing fast internetz
>>55663953
We have that too (altough it is set at like 10%) which probably meanst that ISPs here sold like 1000% of their real bandwith.
Computer mouses are for dumb people, whereas keyboards are for intelligent people.

I know but I don't know where else to ask, made a thread on tom's hardware 3 days ago and still nothing.
So my motherboad has 4 RAM slots and I have 4 sticks, 2 of them being 1GB and the other 2 512MB. Yesterday my computer crashed (not for the first time) so I booted it and I expected it to be just fine. But it stuck on the windows load screen (I'm running Windows 7), the black one with the logo. Then I booted it again and this time there was a blue screen error page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. I thought at first that it was the HDD failing so I checked if the cables were plugged in, everything was ok. So next thing I did was to check the RAM. I cleaned the dust, unplugged the sticks, put them in again but to no effect. Then I decided to try and remove 1 of them and suddenly it worked just fine. Then I put that one back(512MB), and unplugged the other 512MB one and it worked again. So that means the the slots and the sticks are both fine, right? What might be causing the issues? Drivers? If so my motherboard is MSI MS-7369 (I know that it's old).
run memtest
