Is there a webm making guide for retards on Linux? I can't get to the 3mb for 4chan.
a generic code and a bitrate equation to convert mp4 or mkv into a 3 mb webm with/without the sound for 4chins would be fine.

What does this have to do with seagate drives? At all? It looks like you just pulled a random point from the writeup.

I've been seeing a lot of people (especially arabs) that call themselves "ethical hackers" on instagram and they hack either bad accounts or restore stolen accounts on instagram.

I know what they do is probably social engineering or something similar. But, what exactly do they figure out? I'm assuming they get the email but I just cant see how they get it from an insta account

What are your ideas? This has been bugging me for a while
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>55666518
They use a thing called brute force hacking, it's just the more powerful PC you have the faster the password will be cracked. And no you can't do it on your dad's 4 year old macbook to hack your ex-girlfriend's 'insta' account you fucking 14 year old
>>
>>55666588
Brute forcing? Are you an idiot? Even if there are no measures against it im looking at an infinite combination to try.

I was just curious because my friend keeps getting hacked
>>
>>55666615
Your friend either has a key logger installed or is stupid enough to click on spam emails

Why hasn't AMD pushed their AIB partners to release yet? It seems like a massive mistake to allow the 1060 to release with custom boards before the 480 custom models come out.

>>
>>55666271
AMD held back stock from them so they could make and sell more references. It kind of worked well until nvidia moved their 1060 release closer, now I bet they are regretting it.
>>
It doesn't matter because you can't find either of the fucking cards anywhere. Once they are available, they're gone before you can even hit "checkout".

Does the excess of modern technology diminish human virtue?
10 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
what you should really ask is: do they look happy?
>>
Buzzwords like virtue and honor are what poor people told themselves to cling onto because they had nothing else

In this age, technology has brought us countless advancements and allow us to individually achieve happiness and not be dependent on societies perceived pressures of virtue or other shit like that

>>55665956
Morals were introduced in the context of religion, people would abide by them because they were promised it would benefit them in the next life.

No, the age of information does not encourage similar standards.

ran a netstat command recently and found a very weird connection on a system level (pid=4)
ip lookup showed it belongs to UK Ministry Of Defence.
It connects via TCP and UDP ports that should be closed (used firewall)..

Need to deploy a server with user accounts and OS virtualization.

Thinking of going CentOS + QEMU/KVM + SPICE but I know it will be a PITA to manage user account VMs on shared storage. Anyone have tips to set this up as easily as possible?

There actually isn't a lot of info online about such a setup (user accounts + qemu access with shared storage). Should I just give users access to a QEMU script that loads up a VM drive stored in their ~ with shared filesystem access or have them login directly via SPICE?

Are there any distros made for this purpose?

How many accounts? Also why?
>>
>>55665744
This is for a small science lab. We will have about 10 users at a single time but users will need to be added and removed because we have rotating lab members (summer internships, etc). Lots of number crunching, some VMs will need to be Windows for a specific piece of software.

It will be on a pretty new machine with a E5-2650v4 so I'm also interested in optimizing VM resources.

If you hire the best programmers in the country and pour billions of dollars into a product something good is going to come out. Other smaller companies just can't compete with google's supremacy.
>>
>>55665059
Because they're not search engines, they're google-scrapers. This in itself is extremely weird to me. Look at early google. Search results were significantly better and more accurate than now. The difference? They didn't use fancy shmancy synsets to fudge the results into irrelevance and didn't assume they knew what you were looking for better than yourself. That's literally all it takes for someone to take over as the new de facto search engine. Takes a day to setup to start scraping the web and register results in your DB while presenting a frontend for that. Takes maybe a month before you can go to production, and during that month you'll merely be waiting for your DB to get populated.
But NOOOO, let's use the garbage results from google and put 0 efforts into it! Surely that's what will make people use our search engine!
