Explain how Hillary Clinton had a "Private Email Server," /g/
I hate her and the other candidates, but I'm genuinely curious as to what these Fox News and CNN """"""journalists"""""" mean when they talk about a "private email server," since the mainstream media is incapable of doing research and gets a majority of what they report on
>she had a server, be it physical or virtual
>it handled email
>she kept it a secret
It's not fucking rocket science
wrong. Idk why it cut off like that, guess I'm just a dumbass
State department and cia niggers approved it...
>it was an elaborate trap
Okay /g/. Opinions on this behemoth of a laptop? Is it worth it? Are water cooled laptops just a meme?
Are you being serious?
>>55658690
It's no laughing matter, this man has no penis.
>>55658690
As serious as much as I don't care about my money
>launch firefox on my shadowbox via X11 forwarding over SSH from my work computer
>launch firefox locally on my shadowbox for private browsing purposes
>process is instead launched on my work computer and X11 forwarded to my shadowbox with no warning
>find the bug in bugzilla
>its 9 years old
>mozilla thinks this is acceptable
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378032
W. T. F. Seriously, W. T. F.
>>55658505
wtf !!!! i hate firefox now!
>>55658505
It's not a critical bug and this bug relies on users (hint: whiny bitches like you) to fix them. Either stop using an obscure OS nobody uses or fix it yourself.
>tries to launch Firefox in the most complicated way
>things don't work out
i get it now, around 80% of you are dirt poor, so you brag 24/7 about your favorite thinkpad from 1996, and your favorite freegan Linux distro, and your AMD because you cant afford a real computer with a real Operating System that doesnt require ypu to input 50,000 lines of code just to open a web browser. it all makes sense now
>>55658387
oh geez guys the jig is up
I guess /g/ is over
time to pack bags
>>55658387
yeah
... This isn't news to us.
>>55658387
I'm not poor, I don't brag, I don't give a shit about my pc as long as my games run at 60fps regardless if low or ultra settings, I don't care as long as my vaio still gives me good battery life.
But yes, you're right, most people here are poor.
I want a laptop strictly for writing and occasionally research.
what is something small and compact, but full keyboard? just want it to write my articles and potential novel on the go.

13 Inch macbook air

Why not just get a bluetooth keyboard for your phone then?
We are inches away from the digital age (I mean 100% digital age). We still live on vinyl, CDs, DVDs, and even cassettes. Which should tell you something. When america and most 1st world countries see the digital age, and you don't see cars with CD players but WIFI and andrid installed on the dash to login to things like Amazon music, Pandora, Youtube music and even spotify, then we will be in the digital age. Let's not forget USB thumb drives.
Every year a new gb chip comes out and it means nothing really, cause the last one will be 1/4 of the original price. They could release it a 10TB hdd for 200 and make money off of it with out even trying. Most things like this don't cost as much as we think. Take Sam's for example. You can buy in bulk say like a case of Cokes for like 60 bucks, but induvidually like a 12 pack is like 4-5$. So the case is a better deal cause it's not as expensive as it looks to make. Marketing aint hard to figure out, it's about what how they work with it and when to release it, that's why you don't see the general populace using 1TB HDD's but something like a 500GB.
So by this logic I want to say that they could give it out to whoever needs it but you don't see it in places like Wal*Mart and Target or even Best Buy cause they realize that the current (and local normie) consumer has no reason for such a device as a 10TB HDD; if I read it right, it's been out close to 2 years, however, it's not been in normal consumer hands, but in places like Facebook, Google, Amzon, and more places like that. So my biggest question is, how soon are we to see in stores something like this?
This is my part of a conversation between a friend and I we are having, that is currently all me. But what I want to know, am I wrong and where if I am. What does /g/ think?
Pic unrelated
>>55658490
>I'm too lazy to take 2 minutes of my time
Nigga you lazy shit
Cool fucking blog faggot
Is a 4 TB hard drive overkill?
Depends on your taste on porn

For Google, that's just Tuesday.
I have two of them. Considering getting 3 more and putting them in RAID.
So is such a ms difference perceivable? And if it isn't does it matter at all or is it marketing lingo?
>>55658217
>So is such a ms difference perceivable
There is a point where the latency is annoying. If you're at exactly that point and decrease the latency by 1 ms, it's noticeable since it's no longer annoying.
>>55658217
It starts to become noticeable when we're talking like 15-20 ms or more.
Anything higher than that - especially with a computer that you're interacting with it - becomes almost unusable.
>>55658243
I see, okay thanks! Reading up on all these stats makes made me curious if others could notice. Much appreciated!
hey, guys. My brother's custom built computer got fucked up and we need to burn a boot disc of Windows 7 Professional.
The only problem is, I no longer know how to get a copy of it, I remember it being a lot easier to get an ISO from microsoft, but now I don't know where to get it. Any help?
Just get pic related, it's a gaming super ultra portable personal computer.
>>55658187
You could always install gentoo?

In this scenario, we see how Assistant Stevessica, handles this situation.
>Are you a smoker?
Yes
>That'll be $20 extra (or $100-$150, dumb people don't know how hard it is, that's how geek squad works)
>>55658170
I don't think you understand how bad this is
>>55658407
This is why as a contractor you have the right to deny service for any reason.
Would you put a magnet in your finger? Why or why not?

I've considered it but have concerns over practicality. Not to mention the healing process would hurt like a bitch.
>>55658102
I would not get one of these I might have to do an MRI .
>>55658131
You can put in a smaller magnet where you would be fine in a MRI. Would you do it then?

>$375

Thank you /g/ for making me not buy into the RX480 or 1060 or even 1070 meme.
I got jewed a lot less thanks to you sobs.
Mail in rebates are shit. I still use newegg a lot but I try to avoid that shit at all costs. They try so hard to not give them to you.
It's not $375, it's $399. Are you blind?
>>55658237
That's cause I used paypal. Newegg is running a 25 buck discount if you pay by paypal for anything over 200 bucks.
I bought Samsung Galaxy S5 (T Mobile), and it's a little over a month later and all of a sudden my phone is blacklisted, I know it's because the guy didn't finish his payments and I'm screwed as far as that goes.
What are my options as far as making this phone making this phone not an mp3 goes. Could I change my IMIE (I rooted my phone in hopes of saving it), could I just switch to MetroPCS and get it unlocked?
I can give a steam game to someone who's actually helpful :)
>>55657922
Give it back Tyrone
>>55657922
Give the phone back to whoever you stole it from
>>55657922
In case you actually did pay for it, you should take it to the closest T-Mobile store. The reps there are fairly understanding and can try to do something. Otherwise, it's going to be a brick.
Does it even matter which wifi card to get?
If it does matter, which one is the best for a good price?
>>55657881
What router do you have?
Connect thru cable
>>55657881
I guess a little, but most of them have the same chip or family of chip in them.
Is pic related worth it? Does it really help with eye strain?
Unless you're in a very bright room it's hugely helpful. Best living room upgrade i've ever done. All you need is a $20 led strip and a 12v power supply. A pwm dimmer is nice too, they're around $7.
>>55657869
That's not a bad idea.
>>55657818
Yes it does. Had one for 6 months and best decision I've made for my eyes
