Can we get a browser thread going?
I'm starting to really hate chrome, and I left Firefox because of how bad video playback was.
Are there other alternatives in the browser landscape?
gentoo
Opera.

Why do you hate chrome?

Synology is bretty gud if you're a casual. DIY will always be better if you are know what you are doing
I have an 8 bay Synology, all filled with 3tb Reds in RAID6.
It's mouthbreather-tier to set up, but has some nice built in features to keep the more advanced users interested. Having a ready-to-use hardware RAID box is pretty nice I have to admit; just shove drives in and it does everything else.
>>55758312
Sweet. Can't wait for full release.

I love how Newegg is full of these retarded sellers, it's worse than Amazon now. Always have to click "Sold by Newegg" or I get flooded with trash listings.
>/g/ always recommends Loonix for lightweight OSes
Why? WinPE is superior in every way.

better support for all programs.
With Linux, you're limited to cardboard box alternatives like gimp.
Thanks in advance for reading my blog post.
x220
>>55758232
But the stock x220 display is utterly abysmal, and the IPS replacement is merely palatable at best with a lousy 67% sRGB coverage and disgusting 1366x768 resolution.
x230
Was it autism, /g/?
Something for most of /g/ to pretend not to have, and frame as a bad thing so they have at least something they can feel better about themselves for.
I'm quite interested in technology. I built my own computer and know loads about computer hardware. I recently built my own quadcopter so I guess I can teach myself some complicated things. I like finding out how things work and things like that. Any of you out there got suggestions or advice on some good/well paid tech jobs I should look into?
>>55758152
Yes, look for jobs that pay well and apply for them
make your own chinese cartoon image board and then apply for a job on facebook :o)

Become self employed. Teach yourself Java/objective C and become very 1337 in them. Usually after 2-4 years of hard studying and practice you can make a profitable app.
Make something new and original or improve on the shitty apps that already exist but make yours ebin. After a while you will be able to live off the app income alone but you'll have to make like 10+ to reach that kind of profit.
I think this processor is one of the most underrated processors out there. Currently has the best bang for the buck and outperforms almost all desktop i3 processors in multi-core performance while costing significantly less.

seems good. i already have a 4150 in my nas though and i've had it ever since it was released. but if i had to build one today, i'd definitely use it

Really ? Isn't that a quad core ?

http://www.strawpoll.me/10835451
this is the easiest autism test, because the only ones who agree to pronounce it "jiff" are redditors, tumblrinas, and stupid /g/oyim like yourself.
gift without the t. also, "jay peg"
>>55758103

Who gives a shit anyway, GIF is a dead format only used by homosexuals (ie iphone users).

Have you even taken the time to open a new tab and go to Google, or do you just think /g/ is your personal tech support?

You cannot fault this.

The top of the radiator is the worst place to have the outlets because that is where the warmer water is.
>>55757943
radiator does not cool air emit
My water cooling system is better and also doubles as a personal hydration system.
