/g/, my friend doesn't believe me when I say that windows 10 is fucking awful. He just won't buy it.
Can you guys help me provide some talking points so to convince him he's retarded, and that windows 10 is terrible.
I only have 4 days left to upgrade but I'm considering not. I want a good OS that lets me play all my animu gaemz but also doesn't spy on me and make me become part of "dat botnet".
>>55758749
Threaten to revoke your friendship with him.
If he decides to uninstall Windows 10, embrace him and whisper in his ear "welcome back, I never lost hope".
>>55758792
if you're getting an offer to "upgrade" then you already are using a good OS that lest you play all your games
Hey /g/

I am looking to buy a new laptop, I have 3 conditions:

I was hesitating between the
Lenovo Yoga 900
http://shop.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/yoga/900-series/yoga-900-13/
and the
HP Spectre x360
http://store.hp.com/us/en/mdp/Laptops/spectre-x360-211501--1
Do you guys have any other idea ?
I am probably goan go with the Lenovo
By the way, I am not a gamer so I dont need fancy GPU

well /g/ show whats your best proxy or vpn .
ill start with the worst so you dont have to stress yourself
Here... hola ...
>>55758723
I use Zenmate for all of my VPN needs. Sucks being in a Muzzie country where all the pornsites are blocked. Works pretty well though senpai.
I use betternet. Best free VPN around. I even vetted it, and I just could not get the damn thing to leak my ip or DNS info at all.

That's Windows for sure.
GNU/Linux with systemd shuts down in ~5 seconds.

Why do we only use sRGB on mainstream applications and displays?
>>55758662
arbitrary decision.
Computer displays had been using various reduced-saturation gamuts as a defacto standard since color displays first became common, and a sort of median of the practicing art was declared the standard to try to unify things a bit. Otherwise you had the bad old days where Mac moniotrs didn't work right on PCs and so on, due to differing gammas etc.
YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES TO CONSTRUCTIVELY PROVE THE DECIDABILITY OF DETERMINING WHETHER THE LANGUAGES REPRESENTED BY TWO REGULAR EXPRESSIONS ARE DISTINCT, OR YUNO IS GOING TO PULL THE TRIGGER AND YOU'RE GOING TO BE VERY SORRY
I want to fuck Yunocchi
you build the finite state machine for both of them with the minimum number of states/transitions? shit, it's been too long since i had those classes
>>55758600
YUNO NO
When you chat in a video game, can people observing your network see the chat in plain text? People type all sorts of stuff when playing video games, sometimes violent things, and I was wondering if it could confuse people who mass monitor internet traffic. For example, think about the kind of things people talk about when playing Counter Strike.
Anyone?

Is it possible to make a program that identifies what's wrong in peoples' lives, and accurately tells them how to fix it? This program would get specific, and genuinely work.
>>55758533
Just a flowchart but it's a lot of work to put those '99 problems and a bitch ain't one' thingy in one of those
>>55758533
Nope. Determining what's wrong with you psychologically and/or physically can only be done by a trained medical professional.
Unless that program your talking about is a super AI that does blood tests and other medical tests on you through your phone somehow then we may never see a "tell me what's wrong with me" app ever.
>>55758533
There are tons of diagnostic tools therapist/psychologists/whatever use so, I suppose if you got a ton of those together you could do something like that.
That's what they do anyway. Just automate it.

Interesting, but not many /g/ users have use in professional workstation cards, hence the steep incline towards consumer gaming cards.
