Don't fall for 4gb. Get at least 8gb. I have i7/16gb/256gb. It's best companion for PC, when you on the go. My only complain that screen is super fragile and bend even on touch input, but thankfully without any damage to it. Would not put on top of it anything tho.
And if you get one, do regedit trick to turn off ready on standby, create power plan with limited CPU usage (I would go 40% on battery 45% on power), it would keep device fan less and cool without big impact on performance. After that you can turn ready on standby (or there would be no sleep) back and power plan, with hidden CPU usage parameters, will stay. Best thing that it would turn of turbo bust, that heat CPU and throttle it after 10 min. It is great machine, I was lucky to get perfect one without sleep of death or battery issue. If you are from USA, you can exchange for any silly reason, because MS store is stupidly generous. Some people exchange their devices 4-7 times because of insignificant light bleed.
And do not use shitty chrome. It would eat your battery like a whore eating dick.

I really do want to get the 8gb version but unfortunately It costs $300 more than the 4gb one (albeit the $1150 8gb ram version also has 256gb storage bundled in)
I'm a poorfag so my budget for this 2 in 1 is $1000ish. I hope 4gb ram isnt a huge perforamce hit when it comes to multiple tabs web browsing.

I have 3 systems /g/ :
>1 laptop running gnu/loonix.
>1 dedicated Steam Big Picture machine running windows 7 (ONLY used for gaming). I don't even have a keyboard hooked up to it.
>1 desktop running windows 7 for casual stuff (everything else non gaming related)
My question is for the dedicated machine. Will I see a performance boost if I upgrade to windows 10? Will I need to re-install all of my steam games (400+ games installed on that system)? How nominal is the performance boost for gaming from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Modest Specs:
>GTX 760
>4 gigs of ram (a little low I know)
>AMD Phenom II X4 960
I pretty much don't care about the Orwellian surveillance on that machine as it's essentially a glorified console. Or will it bleed into other computers on my network (do some sketchy arp spoofing bullshit to see what other computers are doing)?
Anyway, thanks for the advice in advanced it's been years since I posted here.
