What the fuck should I do?

It's not very easy for me to move my case out and unplug the mouse. Can I unplug the mouse without physically unplugging it? Restarting the PC doesn't seem to work.

15 year old tech myths?

this isn't a myth and is still true for older computers/disk drives

that's true though, OP. the chances may be negligible these days, but the principle holds.

This is, by far, THE best software feature I have encountered in a very, very long time. If you press J or L, you skip a YouTube video 10 secs back/forward. This, its fantastic.

If its LinusTechTips shilling, some god awful cringe, to summarize a tutorial video, to skip some part in a compilation you know, its the ultimate key for everything.

I LOVE this feature.

Discuss.

I watch youtube via mpv so I just use mouse wheel or arrow keys rather than some autistic JKL combo.
>>
>>55863771
This will blow your mind, OP
Use the arrow keys to move 5 seconds back/forward.
And change the volume

F = Fullscreen
M = Mute

Although I guess this does mean that snake game is gone then.

Trying to base a phone on a web browser is what went wrong.

It offered exactly zero real-world benefits over Android/iPhone.
>>
>>55863505
Absolutely no vision. At least Ubuntu tries to do something different, but this was just a money sink.
>>
>>55863505
They didn't think it through. I have that phone, and the browser is as barebones as can be. You have to install an app to copy/paste text, and even that only works if it's in an input field! Home screen isn't customizable either. This is without talking about the obvious disadvantages all third-options suffer from.

Why can't I plug a device into 2 USB ports instead of 1 for higher bandwidth?
24 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>55863268
because what you're plugging in wouldn't be a USB device
>>
>>55863268
Technically could if the device had two USB ports on it or one non-standard port that combined the two.
>>
>>55863314
What if it's a USB 3 device, capable of the higher speed through its one port but bottlenecked by usb 2 on an older pc?

>>
>>55863168
UNIX, as in the OS standard (POSIX), is good. System V is old, but was a good predecessor. OpenSolaris and the BSDs are fine. FreeBSD is good. OS X is pretty good as a UNIX for the masses, and I also like that Apple is a contributor to FreeBSD and other FreeBSD projects, such as LLVM/Clang.
