Is there any device I can carry secretly that will turn all mobile phones around me off? I don't mean just their network signal, but turn them off completely. I can't stand seeing people looking at their tiny screens at full brightness playing stupid games or chatting with their stupid friends all the time like they have anything to say after spending all day long chatting nonstop.

They're also really illegal, and you get caught running one, you're going to federal pound me in the ass prison.

I'd also like to point to just how stupidly trivial it is to triangulate the location of such a device.
If you're stationary, amateur radio enthusiasts will literally go out of their way to report you to the FCC because they have nothing better to do.
And if you have the device in your bag, you'll get arrested after the 4th or 5th time you pass by the same place because surely, you take the same public transport and there's cameras everywhere.

Why isn't there a file system accepted by all of the major operating systems? FAT32 comes to mind, but fuck that if I have something larger than 32GB. Windows has or will eventually have bash, so we can expect it to read ext4 with no problems. Even then, what of the faggot OS X? I'd like to have a flash drive bigger than 32GB, but there is always a problem. Fuck.

Hey /g/uys, I just got a letter in the mail from my ISP saying it is my fifth strike for being flagged by their Copyright Alert System and told me if I do not dispute it they will turn off my internet for a day.

What do you think I should do or say to them? The stupidly minor penalty of no internet for a day is not a big deal, I do occasionally go outside. Even though I am moving into a new apartment next month I would still like to dispute or remove the strike because it is on my step-mother's account.

Any advice?
