hey so I used to be a hardcore Linux guy in like 2012, I used Ubuntu and Arch Linux and all that shit. then I switched to Windows and spent 2 years of my life doing drugs and making art and music and now I want to be a programmer again. What distro should I install? I want something challenging but not Gentoo-level overwhelming

I-I'm sorry guys. I just can't.
I want to be free as in freedom with you all but I just can't keep reading incredibly thorough wiki pages over and over, all of them using terms that I've never heard before in my life.

I-I think I'll just stick to Windows 10. It's fast and it does what I want it to.
I-I'm sorry /g/.

Anniversary update will remove that option, they also removed the policies that allowed you to disable it.

So are you still stuck with your inherently anti-parallel paradigms like OOP?

Why not embrace Erlang and Haskell? That's where the future is at.

As many of you have probably noticed, when you attach an ssh server to the internet on port 22 you almost instantly start getting attacked by bots.

As far as I can tell they'll go after default logins. One I see a lot is for the user "pi".

What the hell are the people running this stuff trying to achieve?

Has anyone found out anything interesting from setting up a honeypot?
