They didn't think it through. I have that phone, and the browser is as barebones as can be. You have to install an app to copy/paste text, and even that only works if it's in an input field! Home screen isn't customizable either. This is without talking about the obvious disadvantages all third-options suffer from.

I found some of the limitations of non-privileged apps in FxOS to be frustrating.
