My current chair is literally a stackable plastic waiting-room chair.
It's more comfortable than anything else I've ever used simply because it's sturdy and has no moving parts to wear out or break.

What do you think the best version of Microsoft® Windows® was/is?
Why did they have to fuck everything up by forcing a shit tablet os onto everyone two/three times?

If by decent you mean writing simple programs that will probably not crash then you just have to read any random "C++ For Dummies" book and you should be fine. C++ is not Java or C# but with the STL you can almost pretend that it is.
If you actually want to write something that is professional quality and not an eyesore you need to understand concepts such as stack vs heap, virtual memory, addresses, memory-layout/padding/whatnot, caching and friends which will take plenty of time (years).

What programing language should I learn. I want to self teach myself coding so any app or website that is useful would help. I was considering C++ but everyone says it sucks and isn't useful. I have a buddy that will probably teach me Python soon so, any other idea?
