Hey /g/, im trying to get a bluetooth cassette adapter for my car but it seems like options are very limited, pic related is the one that seems very common, but it sounds like it can't be charging while inserted, idk why they would just let you run a cigarette lighter adapter so you didn't have to bother charging it. does anyone know of a bluetooth adapter that would do this?
i tried to do a radio frequency emitter, both wired and bluetooth, but just leaves way too much static in sound.
i would really like to know if a good bluetooth adapter exists before i break down and get a regular wired AUX one.
thanks for any help
Stop being poor and just buy a headunit with bluetooth/aux input

If I gave you ten of these to do with as you wanted, except sell them, what would you do?
If you don't know what it is, it is the 15TB drive from samsung

the fuck?
>>56119513
I already own a 380x, it's in my current computer. I added it a year ago and didn't feel like shilling out the $200 for the 480

And in addition, this isn't a crazy Xeon. It's basically just a locked i7 without integrated graphics
If one were to learn and eventually get involved in the pentesting field, is this the go to OS?
Would it be counterproductive to use windows while trying to learn about pentesting? If so, why?
Also, could you use Ubuntu or other distros to do the tasks one would normally use kali for?
You'll need some Windows boxes to practice on
>use ubuntu of whatever instead
>end up having to manually install all the hacking tools that come prepackaged on Kali
you'd be wasting your time with anything else
>>56119478
>actually believing you're going to learn fast enough that the time spent installing tools will even be relevant
Building my first pc and I need a fullsize case with USB 3.0. Prefer to not break the bank. Is this possibru?

I'll go there with any other questions but for now gonna keep this thread.

Then i may refer you to the sticky.
tell me your ideas for a great app that hasn't been introduced to mobile yet?
I promise I won't steal anything
*slowly opens notebook*
basically it's a mobile app that helps people brainstorm ideas for mobile apps and hidden in the terms of service is the "we good to steal yo shit" clause

Sounds fascinating. Tell me more.
A media streaming service that doesn't suck dick or beg me for money after the initial payment.
Fucking plex wants me to give them five bucks to "unlock" the app AND an additional 4.99 a month.
Kodi is free, but is bloated.
Discussion on RESTful APIs ?
I'm under the impression right now a REST api is essentially using HTTP to retrieve information from a server via JSON responses.
This confuses me because when I used Paypal's SDK which says REST in the title...I didn't use any JSON to build the script.
bump
>>56119314
As far as I understand it OP thats pretty much what REST is.
Technically it comes with all this extra bullshit for example not having any state and using all the HTML request things instead of just POST/GET all the time or whatever. But in practice thats a load of fuck. Good luck with sessions when you're not using any state. And nobody uses anything other than POST and GET so shove your fucking PUT, DELETE etc up your ass.
Why is this working? The print() function should only work with python3, but this script is compiling with python2? Both python and python2 should be using the python2 interpreter.
>>56119204
lol.
print("text") is compatible with both 2 and 3.
If RMS is so great then how come it isn't the year of the Linux desktop?

wtf I hate Linux now
>>56119190
That fat faggot has nothing to do with Linux. He's just a free software advocate.
>>56119190
RMS is an idiot who couldn't write code good enough to give away, let alone sell. Hence, we have GNU.

What do you /g/entlemen use to sync your passwords across all devices?
a notebook with paper and pen
>>56119077
1. My password manager has built-in support for syncing. I use it with my own VPS - not because I care about syncing, but to serve as a form of backup
2. I don't sync my password database, I log in to my home machine remotely and access the password manager directly.

I'm running foobar2000 v1.3.10, listening to TTAs over the local network from my NAS via SMB.
After a few hours foobar's GUI locks up, and overall system performance suffers.
Looking through the task manager, I can see no CPU, disk, or memory leaks or otherwise overusages.
This indicates a multithreading deadlock issue, probably related to the way it pulls files off the network.
Anyone else have this problem?
well it's free software so why not look at the source code
oh wait lol
Wow that sounds like a very specific problem. I hope you find an answer anon
this is not a pearl thread
