L9w density vs high density ram problem, was your mobo a prebuilt?
>>56119161
yes.
>>56119085
probably a corrupt bios
reset it
I AM using different brands of ddr2 memory because the 2 of the sicks that came with the pc were faulty.
So i had a similiar problem turns out prebuilts are not that easy to upgrade in ram stuff, since some of these vendor lock you with their own low density shit ram
Yeah reset BIOS via battery, but i guess it's most likelt the issue i highlighted abovw, i switched 4 ram types and it still did not work. if still insist on making it work check kingston ram compatibility tool
OP here:
I am unsure if his is important or not but the computer shuts down after holding the pwr button for 2 seconds
so, splash screen but no BIOS?
>>56120194
Yes, just that
>>56120224
never heard of this, smash that mf del key (or whatever the key to get into BIOS settings is) see if anything happens
>>56120237
My three options on the splash screen are:
Esc=boot menu
F10=setup
F11=system recovery
When I spam esc or f10 it says loading boot menu or loading setup however nothing happens when I spam or hold f11
Also nothing happens when it says loading x just like normal
so nothing happens when you press f10 no menu comes up?
No menu, just splash screen saying entering set up

unplug everything, hold down power button for 15 seconds, plug it all back in and then try
>>56119085
1. Not tech support
2. DDR2? Throw that fucking garbage out already.
3. After you've done that, kill yourself, retard.
>>56120409
Unplugged hdd disk drive ram case fan cpu fan power cord video cord and keyboard. Held power button for 15 seconds then reconnected everything then started it up spamming f10 key and still get the same entering setup splash screen frozen once again
mobo is kill then.
>>56120588
I would say so.
