How do you feel about Vulkan /g/?
I don't feel about it because it isn't supported on my platform.
I think that once OpenGL gets implemented on top of Vulkan and non-Vulkan GPUs start falling out of support, the porting story for alternative OSes gets a lot nicer.

I was actually thinking about doing this with a smaller itx card, using a 140 or 120 depending on mounting. How's the result?
I also love Noctua
I've had Arctic Accelero with two NF-P12's from 2007 on several gpu's.
You should rather tie the fans together and to the sink only from the sides.

Making shitty software that does the bare minimum.

Just lurk ebay.
I have an Emotiva PT-100 going into powered JBL LSR305.
The LSR305s have a switch on the back which allows a change between +4dBu or -10dBV. Which one of these would the emotiva support? Its my understanding that +4dBu is for pro equipment, and -10dBV is for consumer equipment. I have been running them at -10dBV for months and obviously there are no problems, but could there be a benefit to running them at +4dBu. Very curious about the difference between the two if anyone has any insight.
Thanks

interpreted language so it is slow.

Lambda syntax is awful because muh LL(1) parser.
No null coalescing operator. The ternary if-else operator is a fucking joke.
Enums came too late so there's a bunch of libraries that take strings as arguments. It hurts code completion and makes it harder to find the right option without consulting the documentation.
CPython api is exposing too many implementation details so it's sometimes hard to make improvements to the language without breaking compatibility.
PyPy isn't given enough love.
PEP 484, while it is a nice idea, is actually a horrible hack. See forward references for example.
Python is my go-to language for pretty much everything.

Why aren't you using Opera right now?
>all chrome extension support
>free unlimited vpn
>pop out player for videos
>can disable home phoning features
>modern UI
>it's yet another proprietary Chrome skin
There's no reason to use it at all over a freedom respecting browser.

Closed source means automatic "no" for me. I'd use Chromium or Brave before I would use Opera.

What widgets are /g/ approved? Just finished rooting my Zuk Z2 Pro and I'm looking to make it comfy. Also, how would /g/ feel about an Android General? A place to confine phone posters and a place for phone posters to talk about what they run and why they prefer it over other options.
Use KWGT or KLWP to rice your phone.
We have an /spg/ which is the closest to an Android general we got.
And we got homescreen threads on >>>/wg/
>>61986562
Oh, yes, great, the thing this board needs more than anything is ANOTHER fucking general.
Go create your own subreddit and leave us the fuck alone.
Hi /g/,
Im not sure if im posting in the right section but I've got a programming question.
How can I make information hop from server to server. In turn i'm trying to make sure the client never has visibility to the original server.
What would be the best way of doing this?
I'm currently working on a site that primarily uses PHP. Thank you.
Picture is related. Hopefully I'm explaining this correctly.
Look into distributed systems, namely passive & active replication.
Why are you doing this? The moment you decide to make a system distributed you open a whole can of worms. You need to start thinking about fault tolerance and consistency.

I'm just trying to improve the security of one of my sites.
nginx reverse proxy
Hey gentopan, I need to enable both dnssec and dnscrypt on my router but once I download dnsmasq-full i lose access to the interwebz.
I tried pasting this part from the old dhcp file into the new one generated after I get the dnsmasqfull package:
option leasefile '/tmp/dhcp.leases'
option resolvfile '/etc/resolv-crypt.conf'
# option noresolv 1
list server '127.0.0.1#5353'
list server '127.0.0.1#5959'
list server '127.0.0.1#5858'
list server '/pool.ntp.org/8.8.8.8'
But no luck so far. Can someone just show me his dhcp file so I can see what am I doing wrong? Oh and yes the resolvers I'm using support dnssec. Ty.

That list is written from a very shallow perspective. It says not to dismiss browsers using unfair comparisons after having done that for the whole list. It lists projects without saying anything about the purpose of the project, just the implicating that it isn't something the author is interested. And has just wrong info in it, ranger uses w3mimage to display pictures in the terminal, not the other way around.
And the noisy design to presumably make it seem like there is more going on hundreds readability, especially the ridiculous yellow highlights. The C in Cliqz hasn't even rendered properly.
You would have been better of copying some fsf interjection then following up with a plain list to those projects without any vapid commentary.
