this is my first post on this board, but let's get to the point.

my sapphire 7870 is dead, and i have a budget of 300€ (330$) for a new GPU

I thought of these two:
>GTX 970 gigabyte(good oc, good clock, good dissipation)

>Sapphire radeon Rx 480 NITRO+ 8gb(lot of memory, good clock, supports the new API vulkan/dx12)

Now, considering the fact that I have an fx 8350 buying a super performing gpu is useless due to the bottleneck. I honestly do not understand what gpu is the most powerful, all the benchs of video games that I've seen (excluding vulkan games) show a yield that sometimes goes in favor of sapphire, and certain in favor of Nvidia, I speak of a gap of at least 20 FPS, and vice versa.

Having said that, should I trust the big brand Nvidia and throw on a "safe" purchase o should I try the performances it has to offer AMD with its 8GB of memory, and the new API vulkan/DX12?

Seriously, I could run so much shit on this, now it won't pick up hardly anything. I used to be able to torrent 1080P movies and stream them to my tv and many other things. Now it's like it don't detect anything and when it does it lags. Was it the updates?

Go is slow. Sure, it is faster than JavaScript. Anything is faster than that language. You can blame Rob Pike for that. He should have used a modern day compiler instead of writing his own broken version. If you want high performance, use C++ or wait until Rust matures.
Also, the slowest part of a web service is the database. That is why Python is used a lot. The time you safe by using a proper library, can be spent on optimizing your database. The Go libraries are toys compared to what is available for Python.
