I got my A+ cert not too long ago and I'm about to get a Network+ cert real soon. I've been looking up some entry level helpdesk jobs and they all seem to require 1-2 years experience.
What gives and how do I get a job in the field if I have no experience?
Most of you fags don't ever put freelance exp
Just day you've been repairing computers for x amount of years and you can supply reference upon n request. They won't request them, trust me.

about to get my cert in A+ aswell friend.
are there even any legit people on this board or just abunch of wana be hacker fags?
my request for java and C++ help got zero attention and is already archived in less than two hours.
anyways. more opinions on this would be nice, also, as an experienced freelancer (in writing and tv media) i would suggest starting with craigslist, maybe contacting local businesses in your area and work them out a good deal. I help you, you vouche for me sort of thing. or, you can google businesses that recently have shut down and have a friend pretend to be an "old manager" at said business. my dad did this, and got a 40k+ job as an IT guy in GE. made good money until those jews moved to india.
Any question?

What's the practical use of this thing?
Office.
That's it. Office & browsing the web at most.

Even if these were true no OEM would do it.
I need one for school. Bonus points if it can handle some recent games.
>>57101136
Anything can handle 'programming'. What you're actually looking for is just a laptop that can handle recent games, as in a 'gaming' laptop.
Look for something with a GTX 950/960 in it.

A regular laptop can handle games like counter strike, civilization, MOBAs, etc.
It can't handle stuff like BF4, crysis, witcher, and so on. So it just depends what kind of games OP wants to play.

INTEL ON SUICIDE WATCH
One thing is certain, that Intel's halcyon days in which it benefited immensely from sharing a monopoly with Microsoft in an explosive desktop PC market from the 80s-00s are now in the rearview mirror.
It's good that they've been forced back down to Earth and now have to compete on a level playing field with IBM, Qualcomm, and others in various areas such as processor architecture and manufacturing process.

x86 should disappear.
What operating system are you currently using at this moment?
Windows 10 because I'm not a NEET who can spend hours a day trying to fix a broken OS.
Windows 7 because I'm not a stupid motherfucker
>>57100586
Windows 10. It runs faster than 7 on both my it home PC and the AMD crap I have at work.
The other day I was cleaning out my drawers ready for a house move and came across this, one of the better purchases I have made but unused for some time. I thought of you and wanted to ask.
Do people still use dedicated music players? Does anyone here have a Sansa Clip+ and still find utility in it that can't be provided by a phone?
I use this exact player because it doesn't have an xbox-hueg screen to break when I drop it on the floor of the gym or the street when I'm out riding my bike.
