This has been bugging me for days and I can't find information about this anywhere.

How exactly does the VGA connection and OSDs work?
Is there any way software or hardware on an external device can access or influence the OSD on a monitor through the VGA cable or is it completely isolated in the monitor itself?

Is there a way, in Vim, to use regular expressions to delete or replace all "</p>" with a blank space where and only where the "</p>" is not preceeded by a "."?

Example data set:

2016 is the year or the GNU/Linux desktop,</p>
It works on my machine</p>
Free as in freedom</p>
not free as in beer.</p>
4K is a meme</p>
smug anime girls</p>

maybe its more of a duel video card vs single as in do the lowest capabilities of dual 1080 handicap it. how much and what is utilized from a duel 1080 configuration vs a Titan-Z?
>>
>>57104540
Since you have the money, why not?
2x 1080 should be better than 1x 1080. In the worst case scenario you deactivate one.

But once the new titan or the TI versions comes out, you will need to support nVidia again.

At the moment this should be the the most "reasonable" power you can get.

Go to Reddit for some actual advice

i decided to try a linux distro for the first time and i installed linux mint on a live usb, until now i used only windows.

i dunno how other penguins are but this distro is really smooth compared to windows, boots up really quick even from a 2.0 usb, all drivers just install and work when you boot up for the first time or insert some peripherics in USB ports, too bad i cannot use it as the main OS due the lack of games and software i use.

microsoft and their friends from israel know that everyone is playing games on PC's no matter the age anymore so that is their big card they play against you to make you not give up on their pajeet powered crap OS.

stallman and gaben should unite their forces and make linux the main OS for quailty gaming.

Linux isn't as popular as it could be due to both lack of games as you said, and lack of overall professional utilities. Honestly if there were an Ubuntu based Linux distro that had professional software (Adobe suite, CAD software) as well as games, I'd be more than willing to pay $100 for an OS license. But that's the problem. The "free nature" of Linux makes any potential paid for Linux distro become black listed by the community almost immediately.

Alright /g/
I'm having a Windows 10 issue, hopefully some of you will know how to fix it and wont just continuously call me a shithead for actually getting windows 10.

So, today I had a scheduled update. I was out at the time and lo and behold, it had updated, or at very least rebooted. Great, I can get on with my life. The first thing that happens when I actually log in, is windows telling me I need to install and reboot for a new update.
Its not even the first time its happened, for months now every time I update, it wants to update again. If I didnt set the updates for like 2 weeks later, I would never get anything done.

I dont want to disable the updates, I cant be bothered and if I mess it up it'll be more time consuming than just delaying the updates.

Have you checked to see if its actually installing the updates and not just failing and retrying?
Try manually forcing windows to do the anniversary update and see if that fixes it. Microsoft has an executable to force it somewhere on the internet
