And I wish I was dead, but we can't all get what we want.
>>57095135
Dam nigga, same here. What's keeping you tethered to this shitty existence?
I have a bunch of cousins and my little sister that love to hang out with a loser like me for some reason so me dying would cause too much collateral damage.
>>57095118
stop being a retarded gaymer consumer and get into real computing
Anyone use powerline adaptors here? Seems some people find them shitty and others get near ethernet speeds.
>>57095034
Depends entirely on your wiring in your house.

I use 'em

Should have used a better example - the 2gb redmi note 3 pro is about $130
I'm an autist obsessed with using the perfect computer ecosystem. I've lost many years of my life thinking about pointless shit like android vs iOS. And Linux vs mac vs windows. I still haven't decided what to use. Send help.

I was like you until I started uni and got a job, now I dont have time for autism
I use windows, have linux on a chinkpad and have the same phone since 2014

Obviously gaming headsets are a big meme, but Steelseries in my experience are great at making gaming products that don't look tacky and shitty. Question is, would these sound any good?
>I know these won't sound good but I want them because they look nice
>Will they sound good?
Dude fuck come on.
One of the main things is they claim it WILL sound good
>The same speaker drivers found in our flagship $300 headsets, the S1 drivers are engineered to deliver a detailed, balanced soundscape with ultra-low distortion.

They seem pretty good from what this guy says. Though he claims they're pretty bright.
how do windows games perform on linux? do they perform all shitty? i am about to play grand left auto san andreas using wine. hopefully it will play with my integrated graphics
You're about to find out.
>>57094704
>grand left auto
Is that the one where the city is overrun by liberal douchebags?
>use systemd and boot with systemd-boot
>lightening fast boot, everything works as it should and efficiently
>this is something we're supposed to avoid in Linux
Fuck the luddites, systemd is what'll bring about the year of desktop LInux.
>>57094507
Systemd won. Is there anything really left to argue on?

Building a pc in like a week waiting on parts, I have Few stupid questions.
1.How to check if a part works
before hand Instead of finishing build and finding out then. WASTING ALOT OF TIME
2. Is it a necessity to wear bracelet things that prevent shock or whatever.
3. Should I worry about faulty usb 3.0 as I am installing OS win 10 through usb.
4.Anything to worry or be aware of aftermath of building pc like starting up os through bios.
Literally just throw any tips out there I need all the information I can get as I do not want to fuck this up. Also If anyone wants I can screenshot build see what others think too lazy to set up part picker on mobile.
Thank you for the read, Apologies as this is my first time on here posting.
I should add that i havent bought anything yet its in my cart on amazon Just in case i should make changes *** Sorry fot not adding i was typing too fast

True but that requires work but If i dont wanna fuck it might as well.
GG beat advice in the last 15 minutes
>best way to destroy a hard disk drive
How I did it:
>take apart entire HDD
>let parts sit in bleach for a few minutes
>for parts where electricity is conducted inside (wires, circuits), use garden clippers to chop those parts into fine bits then flushed down the toilet (various flushes to scatter more effectively)
>take apart all the parts that store information/memory
>clip them into tiny bits and powder, flush and scatter effectively throughout sewage system
>regular metal parts and the case can just be thrown in regular trash
>the last step was crushing the magnetic discs: about 40% became powder the rest is just very small pieces
And after I finished everything, this is all that's left to flush.
Jesus Christ, did you have like ultra-CP or shit like that on there? There's prudence, and then there's retarded overkill.
>>57094371
Just buy a fucking bulk eraser, jesus.
Thermite. The answer is always thermite.
Will my pc bottleneck hard if i get rx 470 gpu while having amd phenom II x4 925 cpu?
>pic obviously not relaed
>people are literally this poor
>>57094387
Will it work with ancient motherboard ASROCK N68C-S UCC ?
hey /g/ no memes question?
is going to uni for computer engineering really worth it.
is it more worthwhile than comp sci
>>57094309
Go engineering if you love building giant cocks in your ass.
Go CS if you want to be a jobless virgin NEET well into your 30's.
>>57094309
Do as your heart says.
>>57094309
Don't let the degree lead you to a job. Know what you want to do and take the courses that teach you what you need to know.
If you don't know what you want to do don't waste the money on college yet. You have plenty of time
Is there any reason to use FAT32 over NTFS on an external USB flash drive in 2016? I remember OS compatibility being one reason years back, but Linux seems to handle NTFS drives just fine now.
>>57094264
i couldnt boot ubuntu from usb untill i formatted the usb to fat 32
>>57094264
you heard wrong, linux wont be able to do fuck all with ntfs unless you install some stupid fucking package to handle it. that goes for exfat as well
>>57094378
Doesn't Ubuntu come with ntfs-3g?

PS4 Pro is already confirmed to be the 2nd.
One remains. Who's it for?
NX?
NX uses the new Nvidia Tegra
expect it to outperform those AMD curry turds at like 10w of power
