Yes. Ubuntu is the officially supported operating system for Robot Operating System(ROS).
Gentoo, while not officially supported is also favored by some researchers(seriously!)

Samsung intends to hit 2016 price parity by 2020.
If this sounds confusing it just means that by 2020 a 1TB ssd from Samsung will cost as much as a 1TB hdd does today.
It could be at least 2025 before we see price parity across the board, maybe later. Seagate is actually planning on releasing a 60TB SSD next year to piss Samsung off.

They're not even in the same class. The 470 is a tier above the 1050 Ti. AMD cards also perform well in Battlefield 1 specifically.
