What are some good video lessons on HTML?
I'm a beginner, I'm looking for a youtube course or video course that I can download.
Code academy is the place you need to search

That looks great, thanks a lot!
What's a good or okay job in technology for people who don't really know shit about technology?
chromebook
Apple store.

BestBuy.
I'm developing a new pattern for you to assemble laptops with a team of 4 engineers and 3 technicians. I'm already in touch with some motherboard builders to make mobos to fit my project and thus I'll release this in 2017. It'll be a huge success and I'll fuck so many women assholes that my dick will thin out. Remember my name Tobias Prahbu.

POO
Poo in the loo.
Software engineering honours projects go:
-Raspberry pi
-Networking
-Graphics
Have you ever seen how people used raspberry pis to make "magic mirrors"?
Do that but also create some machine learning/CNN thingy that in semi-real time blends people's faces with Hitler's
>>57225371
Doesn't even need to be machine learning. Just use OpenCV with haar cascades or whatever feature detection is used nowadays.

a bot that can shitpost and will learn from other shitposters. bonus points if the bot can travel all across 4chan, spreading the joy of shitposting.
Should be pretty fucking easy. If in doubt, the bot can just pick a few anons in a thread and tell them to kill themselves. Or just say "OP is a faggot".
Microscopes are technology.
Our 20 year old JEOL 5800 LV is getting replaced this winter, the hype is real.
I will post some SEM, I don't have anything else on this computer.
Does anyone work on newer scopes with all touch screen controls? Is it annoying to work with or not?
I just started working on some Helios 4500 models. Im pretty new to microscopy but they are badass
>>57225247
That is dual beam correct? Are you involved in manufacturing or is it for materials research?

Here is the same type of sample dried improperly
What does /g/ think of pfSense?
About three months ago, my router went tits up, and so I stuck an extra NIC card in a spare computer and put pfSense on it.
I'm mostly happy with it so far. Anyone have any experiences with it?
>>57225199
it's great for home and soho, i don't see why not use if just maintaining one or a few installs
if only they would someday port to arm but meh, x86 stronk
>>57225199
It's ok, but a lot of the default settings are nonsensical and it just doesn't function as well as the commercial offerings.
>>57225199
Using it since 3 years and never used anything else.
pfBlockerNG with Adblock and sn0rt are some great packages.
Also using CapitivePortal.
So /g/ i installed kodi as everyone hyped it up so much and because i was told there would be free tv streams.
However it seems all the useful sources and add-ons have been blocked and i cant find shit all to watch. However i do like their UI and they did a job job of sorting my local files with correct cover art and info so i would like to continue using the program
So can /g/ hook me up with the latest sources/add-ons or shall i just end it all now? no pressure.
Why are there suddenly 9001 support threads?
We have /sqt/ even though it's against the rules and fucking >>>/wsr/
Come on, OP.
>>57225221
Noone ever goes on those boards iv made a few requests both there and in /r/ and they just get ignored.
i figure this would be a simple request that could be answered in fewer words than were used in your response
>>57225195
I dunno about tv streams, I've only used them for sports, but for tv series episodes I use the 1channel addon. Most of the streams are pretty shit quality though, probably better of downloading then. Genesis and Exodus are supposed to be good but they seem to me to have fuck all content.
I need help /g/
I recently build a desktop for a friend, an i5 6600k/GTX 1060 combo. The issue is that every single time I try to load any game the entire screen becomes pixelated. If I exit the game and turn the screen off and on then it fixes it, but it will fuck up again as soon as I try to load any game.
I have tried different HDMI ports, different cable, and every windows and Nvidia setting I can. The screen is a Sony 1080p tv, and this tv works perfectly with my desktop when I use the same HDMI cable and input.
The pic shows what I'm talking about. Top is actually a screenshot of when it was messed up, but the screenshot doesn't reflect the issue. Bottom is a picture I took of the screen that was at the same time as the top screenshot.
OP here. Forgot to mention that this same HDMI output on the card, same HDMI cord, but plugged into my LG 1080 monitor works perfectly fine without any issues. It only seems to happen with the Sony tv, which is odd since I have used it with my own desktop for years, and with other computers before it.
install gentoo

what modes does your TV support?
Anyone having an issue where if they hover over an image, or expand an image then 4chan and other 4chan tabs that are open just crash? Maybe its just Chrome, but it's been happening this past week or more for me.
>>57225042
just to make clear
when I hover over an image, or expand the image every tab of that board I am accessing the image crashes. So if I'm browsing /g/ here and expand or hover over an image. Then my page crashes, along with every other instance of /g/ I have open in other tabs.
I'm having trouble loading some images, but not to the extreme that my tabs crash.
>>57225144
looks like I have an update for google chrome, maybe this will fix it.
Is this normal?
No, you're fucked
>>57224988
Can I stick a piece of metal in it to make it working
>>57224976
Yes it's normal
So I'm working in C langauge with a GNU compiler. I'm trying to make it so that when the user puts in any values not between 0 and 3 it will enter a while loop and print an error. Whenever I run this line the program crashes
while ((dice<0) && (dice>3)){
printf("Error, you can only roll 0 through 3 dice!\n");
scanf("%d",dice);
}
pls help
>>57224926
> while dice is less than 0 and greater than 3
Man I hope this is bait..
>less than 0 AND greater than 3
Maybe read through your code sometimes?
Just acquired a brand new Clarkdale 661 machine, what do?

Can someone help me fix this c/c++ pointers code? I thought I understood pointers well but apparently not.
So first line obviously needs to changed to:
int val = 30;
int *p = &val;
then the second line should work, as it simply changes the address of p up 6? Dont see why that wouldn't work.
And for the third line, I am getting errors when trying to compile that. How to fix that line? (I can't move on since the rest requires what comes before it to compile).
Im aware the string in 4 will need to changed to char s[] = "....";
Sorry for the disorganized post, this is due in an hour and Im working on a different questions simultaneously.
3: p = *p + 5;
>>57224866
whatever you are trying to do there is an easier way
>>57224866
> then the second line should work, as it simply changes the address of p up 6? Dont see why that wouldn't work.
For small values of "work".
Sure, changing the pointer won't result in an error, but the pointer now points at ... god knows what. So reading via the pointer will return some unspecified value and writing via the pointer will modify ... something, possibly resulting in a crash.
tl;dr: pointer arithmetic is only defined if the pointer points into an array.

But just to sum up:

it's trash
Why do normies love these shits so much?

Why do you care about other peoples preferences? Is there anything wrong with pic related?
If I could have one that looked like this, and had a scratch pad on the side for writing notes I'd use it.
