That's done. I've got 150 possible unit identifications for narremes (probably more than 300+ in existence, if we started looking academically now we might hit that number before I die), contained in a way that would allow a machine to access a translated world and interpret it for conversation/debate with a human.

Natomics provides the data set by which a modern learning machine can "comprehend" common language and understand the world-via-language. It requires a self modifiable field (like microsoft's current fpga project) to host abstracts loosely understood as a possible hierarchical series of linguistic prompts, opening the possibility of thinking about THINGS instead of words. But I'm not going to get into it much further here.

p.s. I'm not a programmer, it's why I'm here. It's fairly adaptive on memory, that will work fine. The real killers are inline dedupe and compression.

If you've got the money, look into LTO6 tapes. They're big enough to do your backups and last ~30 years.

Real world environment required to be simulated with test mocks. Software like CarMaker for automotive applications used.

Freebsd has been really nice so far. Is there any point to using dragonfly instead? It seems like freebsd + better SMP + better filesystem

They diverged due to difference of opinion as to how SMP should be done. DragonflyBSD things are often upstreamed to FreeBSD. They have HammerFS, which is a neat FS. It's great to research some of those things.

FreeBSD on the other hand is a lot more serious about stability and consistency. It's meant to be used in production. If you want to experiment with DragonflyBSD, it's probably worth doing, however I personally prefer to keep FreeBSD on the servers and routers I run, aswell as on my desktop and laptop.

As a follow up, better filesystem and SMP isn't very clear here, as they are simply different, not proven to be better. ZFS is a pretty damn rock solid FS.
