I'm not a rich anon, so I can't get the latest and greatest. But I've just upgraded to an AMD 7970 (though it's showing as a AMD R9 280!).
The graphics settings are all turned up and I'm able to play Rise of the Tomb Raider and it looks gorgeous!
What's it like anons, that have got the latest GPUs? How good will my gaming be in a few years when I buy your second hand stuff?

I love the convenience and integration but I no longer trust google. I tried proton mail, but the free version has a mandatory "sent by proton mail" signature and that is unacceptable.

Not sure where to ask this.
I managed to recover a deleted and overwritten video from an sd card,
it's pratially corrupted, the video glitches every few second and the audio repeat itself 2-3 times reguraly.
Problem is that audio and video are out of sync, and the audio anomalies aren't tied to the video anomalies all the time.
I'm planning to simply cut the video where it's corrupted since they're just a handful of frames at a time, but I'm not sure how to fix the audio since it's harder to understand what to cut.
Any pointers?

select vid, right click, unlink. then can cut/move the audio track seperate from the video. adjust audio by selecting track, hold down right button and slide it forward or back to resync.
and use /wsr/ instead of /g/.

I use the command line whenever practical.
At first, mutt was really weird, but after getting sort of used to it, I preferred mutt over any graphical client.
ncmpcpp looks good enough and I find it pretty nice. All I really need from a music player is text and the sound is handled by mpd. It is possible to grab cover art and use it on some places, but I don't have any need for that.
weechat is just nice. IRC is only text anyways, no need for an entire GUI.
I won't be using w3m or any other terminal Web browser anytime soon, however. The Web has been tailored for graphical interfaces for years now, though vimperator lets me use the keyboard more than the mouse.
