My squeezeboxes are dying, and their server is screwed up (no longer plays DTS and DolbyD). What's the modern replacement for them? I guess all I want is a device that can read a remote file system and play the audio (FLAC, DTS, DolbyD, 5.1 support is mandatory) in high quality over optical or coax output (modern connectors are useless because I still have a lot invested into high quality audio equipment that just keeps working).

Some RasPi (or clone) running mpd and a phone/tablet to control it. USB DAC optional. I think some shit that does exactly this already exists for RasPi, you may not even have to set up everything yourself, though you can definitely start from whatever base Linux install and DIY if you want.

I recently tried Ubuntu to see what the fuss is about Linux
these were my main concerns

how do I make it look like windows font?

the file explorer is a nightmare
I can't navigate correctly and it really decreases my freedom compared to windows file explorer

can't even move it to the right side

Any knowledgeable networking ppl around and want to share some knowledge?
1) if I have wifi and ethernet, how does Win/Unix pick the interface to use? Where are these settings kept? How do you change them?
2) Say I connect to VPN, tun0 for example, can I send only specific traffic through it and then send other traffic through ethernet, for example? How is that done?

Watched it regularly a few years ago but kinda lost sight of it.
Now they apparently split up, everyone hates each other and they all started their own shows. Logan has "Crit TV" and sold out to some jews, Wendell and Qain do their own thing.
And pistolsteph is busy playing with her pistol as it seems.
What the hell happend?
I didnt watch it for a few months, but its kinda sad that I no longer have the choice.
Logan is absolutely worthless without Wendells know-how, and Wendell is just some autistic nerd without Logan.

I've tried configuring KDE a little bit but it still looks absolutely horrible.
I saw an anon had posted an image of a KDE desktop that looked really slick and nice. Looking through the options of customizing the interface I saw very little that I could change.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tutorials in how to change around the KDE interface?
