Not advertising. I bought mine used for practically nothing. Just was surprised how good the newer Yoga was.

>>57892658
No, you're fucking advertising.
I bought my x200 for practically nothing ($50) and it still runs perfectly fine because it's not running windows.

would learning assembly before C be a good idea? people say i shouldn't
waste my time but others say to do it to make learning C more understandable, what do you guys think?
Only if you deal with drivers, kernel or compilers.
>Assembly
>C anything
Do you have a vagina?
If the answer is no, your career is already over.
Google "highest employment rates" or kill yourself right now.
>>57892145
No. Assembly won't teach you anything more than C. Only learn if you have interest in low level stuff.
I fucked up the socket earlier on my motherboard. Is it ok to keep the CPU in the socket and memory in until I get the replacement
>>57892045
why put cpu in duff socket
>>57893021
Tossed the packaging for the CPU don't wanna fuck it up. Left memory in too because same
>>57893021
>>57893362
So basically I am using a broken motherboard to store components until the replacement arrives
How autistic would I be if I ran Linux in a VM on Windows?
I guess muh freeedum respek would be at an all time low, but I'd still be able to get better performance. Is there really no benefit to this and if so do I just install Linux and run Windows in a VM when needed? (or just dual boot, which is more likely)
>>57892039
It's autistic to ask whether it's autistic
>>57892039
Not

>I install VirtualBox and supply LXLE VM
>Do all web surfing from Linux VM
>A little more secure than Windows
>When they eventually download malware I simply revert to snapshot and done.

Hi. I have a problem with internet. My pc is able to connect to the internet only when using 10Mbps full duplex. I checked cable on different computer and everything is fine with cable, I tried to connect internet through additional LAN card, and USB 3.0 LAN adapter and it still not working on auto negation. Tried different modem (still nothing). Windows 10 Home Premium, Modem: HG633, on default settings, ISP TalkTalk (UK). Problem started when I moved out on a new flat.
Did you try installing gentoo?
No.
