Has the CIA niggers finally gotten to Terry's internet?
Dude's struggling with his daily streams...
Maybe one of his jars of cum that he saves for Physics Girl broke and ruined his router

Hackintosh Thread
Hey guys, what have been your experiences with hackintosh machines? I'm currently trying to make my own with triple boot between Windows 10, OSX Sierra and Ubuntu.
Currently creating the usb installation for OSX Sierra on a OSX Sierra VM, I've attempted it before but with partitioning my SSD and it was hell, also audio never worked and ended up fucking up the whole installation and other partitions. Now I'm installing every OS in an exclusive SSD/HDD. Any good guides?
I'm using a GTX 780, so I'm not injecting Nvidia Drivers on the USB installation.

I'm doing the same right now. I've done it successfully on a laptop once but this time it's on a desktop, so it should be easier.
Currently trying to fix the formatting issues...

/g/ should i buy into the virtual reality meme? I only use my computer for talking to my friends and going on 4chan, but upgrading my computer and getting an htc vive sounds cool, but it looks really pricy.
Should i get it while the price is at 800 dollars or is vr a shamwow.
Pic unrelated
VR is a shamwow right now.
Don't get it unless you're going to develop software for it.
>>57894329
When do you think I should get it?
>>57894294
I tried it. Not really worth it.
1- The price for the gear itself is extremely high, as much as a good PC.
2- Your need high-end graphics. Really high end: GTX 1070 or better. That is also pricey.
3- VR gaming library is extremely limited. Try and find 3 universally praised VR-exclusive titles.
4- The VR experience itself is still not up to par:
4a- The gear is heavy
4b- The resolution is not high enough, you can still see the pixels
4c- The refresh rate is too low
4d- The tracking is a bit slow (i.e "lag").
4e- The four items above cause you to feel dizzy/sick. Does not apply to younger gamers
I would not recommend it. Maybe in ~5 years time, when you can get 4K screens per eye @240Hz, a lighter headset with faster tracking, and AAA titles designed for VR from the ground up... maybe then it will be worth it.
Stop using harmful software.
Sorry, I only listen to Varg.
Go back to being dead Uriel
Already did, Linux was hurting my productivity so I switched back to Windows.
Checking if a string is the same character repeated. Does python do it best?s='aaaaaaaa'
s == s[0] * len(s)
True
int is_repeated(const char *s)
{
unsigned i;
for (i = 1; s[i]; i++)
if (s[i - 1] != s[i])
break;
return (i == strlen(s));
}
s == filter (==head s) s

Sad to think it's only a two old card and is pretty much irrelevant now.

I'm replacing this piece of shit with a 480.
>mfw (((Micro$oft))) and (((Intel))) made it impossible to install Windows 7 on Skylake via USB
Actually it's completely dependent on your MOBO.

Does /g/ use any particular programs to transfer large amounts of data between hard drives/external HDDs?
I'm upgrading to a 3TB drive and moving all my old shit over and I want to do it as safely as possible
They usually include a utility with the new drive that copies everything for you.
>>57894157
Yes, it's called a file explorer.
They come with a nifty little feature known as ctrl+c / ctrl+v to anyone with an IQ greater than 20.
could rsync --checksum it afterwards

I've got a glorious IBM Model F keyboard I'd like to use via USB, Anyone else shill out $40 for this adapter? Or is there a better way?
Get an AT to PS/2 adapter for less than $10.
Then use PS/2 because it's a superior keyboard input method anyways.
It's worth it honestly

Where's the best place to buy prebuilt PCs?
>inb4 build it yourself
I have before, shit broke, don't want the hassle
cyberpowerpc is apparently sketchy. Can anyone confirm or suggest a good place?
>>57894055
Best buy
direct from ayylanwear
logical increments has a good site listed for prebuilt, their only site that they list, but im a shill for them
i feel you though, i bought a bunch of parts because for years i figure it was easy peasy, even replaced a gpu, power supply, and some fans
i cant take a new case and motherboard and cpu and heatsink and all that, no clue what im doing, nervous wreck, ive given up, its tons of money down the drain really
