I read that modern onboard graphics solutions are making low end dedicated GPUs obsolete, does anyone have experience with this? I've never used the onboard GPU because gaymen PC.

I'm putting together a build for my uncle and he doesn't play games. Will he be okay doing normie things with just the intel HD graphics 530? Are the AMD alternatives better?
15 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
There is no reason to have a dedicated graphics card if you don't play games, basically. This obviously does not hold if your paedophile uncle is doing something more demanding and specialist, but there's nothing a normie will do which needs a GPU except games, and if your paedophile uncle needed a GPU then he wouldn't need you to build his computer.
>>
On board graphics on modern Intel chips are enough for all normie shit including playing wow and mobas. Bottom end dedicated GPUs are actually worse.

I'm going to build my first gaming PC later this week and I need a good build for my 600 dollar budget. Would 600 be enough to run most ps2 games and whatever my >xbone can run?

Buy an off lease i7 8GB HP or Dell workstation for ~$200 and then blow the rest of the money on a video card and SSD

Fuck Samshit

So heres whats happened.

I broke my phone, screen got cracked. Figured I would send it for repairs. So I talked to a rep on the phone and he assured me it could get repaired for 200 dollars. This is an S7 thats only 4 months old.

Anyways, I paid, sent it in. And I got it back... Unrepaired. They canceled it because the warranty was void from the cracked screen. However, I have yet to receive a refund.

Well, anyways, fourth and last Samsung device.

Clearly using IR or ultrasonic sensors to track your finger. It just needs to know where the corners of the screen are which is why you need to buy one for the correct screen size
