Custom rom
Not completely. Replicant is as close as you can get.
I am having problems with viewing images on 4chan.
Sometimes image urls are in the is.4chan.org domain and don't work. Example >>869696 is (http://is.4chan.org/qa/1480921494808.jpg) and when I click the thumb I get 404.
I have to manually change the url to i.4cdn (http://i.4cdn.org/qa/1480921494808.jpg) in the address bar to make it work.
This happens randomly all over 4chan, with somewhere around 50% of all images. Some work some don't. Seemingly no one else are having the same issue? I'm not using any addons/plugins in browser right now.
Your ISP is shit
>>57916332
>ISP
I don't see how that would be an issue.
Also, >>57916331 and >>57916332 display properly, because they're i.4cdn.org unlike some others.
Here's another test upload.
>>57916333 OK this one also worked.

Come on I can't be the only one.
I ran fucking MalwareBytes and it thought it detected some shit, I pressed yes whatever faggot just delete it and it did it, now my Task Scheduler is totally fucked up.
Every time I open Task Scheduler it says 'The selected task "[0]" no longer exists. To see the current tasks, click Refresh'. I've tried deleting the tasks that no longer work but that hasn't made the stupid message fuck off.
I used to have the program SpeedFan open just fine when I logged on, now it won't fucking do it even if I delete the old task and make a new one exactly like the one that used to work. The annoying thing is the task does work if I go to it in Task Scheduler, right click on it and press run.
What the fuck is its fucking problem?

Is caps lock a meme?
Why did they bother making it in the first place?
Is ur mum a meme?
>>57916010
THe woman who birthed me is not, but the phrase "ur mum" is.
I USE MY CAPS LOCK ALL THE TIME
I want an affordable tablet that is under $220(max $230) that has the following features.
>daily usabilty
Because I'm in college, doing business studies and have numerous assignments and power point presentations. I'm not planning to make ppts or do assignments in the tab but rather intend to view the works I've done when I want to.
>a good battery life that must last a day
>a good display
>Camera is not required actually but it's okay having a camera.
Thank you.
OP here.
I found a good one which is the Lenovo Tab A10 but I found the user reviews saying the wifi can get pretty slow and is not actually great. But I also need wifi.
I'm looking for more suggestions.
for $230 there's a alternative like windows 2 in 1 laptop inspiron, transformer asus flip/book and hp 360 they all have 11'6 display.
Why is Jewgle and their merry men so shit at android app layout and design? You've got 10 seconds to suggest me decent tablet apps.

Are they cheaper then Per Gig yet?
Can they sit unpowered for years at a time?
SSDs are nothing more than a /g/ meme. No one seriously uses them in industry because of the extremely limited number of writes. Also they cost a fuck ton more per gigabyte, and do not have the capacity to hold the entire operating system and applications for a modern computer workstation. The speeds are barely faster than 10000 rpm drives, especially when you consider the fact that most of your hard drive accesses are going through RAM caches anyway, you aren't going to hit the actual disk every time. The only thing SSDs have is *slightly* faster bootup times. But bootup is less than 1% of computer use time, so it's not really a metric worth optimizing for. Just hibernate your PC instead of shutting it off, or grow some pateince and wait the 10 extra seconds to boot up with a normal hard drive.

Interesting, slavs and their engineers can actually be useful no matter what /pol/tards say.
As for your question, yes, they really did make the fastest electric car.
>>57915803
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT7KKxoAvvk
Typical electric car + custom torque control per each wheel = super car of super car
Modern electric motors have absurd power to weight ratios. The problem is storing the electricity to run them.
If battery energy density ever gets close to fuels even building electric airliners is simple.

Do any of you care about the fact that all modern micro-processors from Intel and AMD are backdoored?
E.g. Intel management engine allows signed code to hijack every component of your hardware. It's like a segmented, hidden part of the processor solely dedicated towards "updates" and you can't turn it off. So even Linux fags using whole disk encryption are still vulnerable.
Also, rebuttal to the "but I have nothing to hide" argument: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=998565
>>57915655
What are we going to do, not compute? If what you say is true, they sure as hell wouldn't use it on anything I do. Revealing or using this functionality would be crazy for them to do. And linux with full encryption is still the most secure OS, this doesn't change anything about that.

This isn't really a board I frequent, but I'm hoping /g/ can help me with one of two issues I'm having, both are computer related.
The first is with a MacBook Pro. There is a flashing question mark folder when starting (picture related), I've tried the Google solutions but they did not work.
The second is with a regular MacBook. It will not connect to the internet. Where the Wi-Fi tab is, it says "No hardware installed". Again, tried the Google solutions, but still couldn't get it.
Any help or suggestions would be a great help and truly appreciated.
On the Pro, I have a lot of stuff that I would really like to get back and would be bummed out if I were unable to get those files.
If this isn't appropriate, or what this board is for, let me know and accept my apology in advance.

Aren't they supposed to "just work"?
>>57915599
I appreciate that, thanks.
I had talked with them over the phone when it happened, but it wasn't much help. Mostly was just wondering if there was a solution that I hadn't tried yet, but I'll try their discussion board.
Again, thanks, anon.
Can we have a Surface general?
