My brother's laptop went borked and I was thinking of putting it on there. Is it secure and what not? If he puts personal information on it will other people get access on it? Is it ok for a daily driver?

Ordered a shitty referb 2TB hard drive from Newegg for $34.99. Got it a week later 'cause free shipping. Wasn't paying attention, just put it in and started comp. Didn't show up, went to disk management, showed 7451.91GB raw, WTF? Turned off comp, took drive out to look at it, 8TB hard drive, paid $35.

second, it's Linux. All Linux distros are mostly the same under the hood, they just differ in two areas: Default setup and update/release policy. For Arch that's "there is no default setup, you build your shit from pieces yourself" and "rolling release, everything updated asap", respectively. If that sounds appealing you'll like it, if it doesn't, you won't.

My website takes 300ms to load from Sweden but like 8 seconds to load from Australia so I want to use cloudflare
However, my Hoster (one.com) doesn't allow the change of name servers so I am looking for another space to host my website at.

Snagged this off craigslist. Needs a hard drive.
The jiggaboo I got it from decided I didn't need the sata data cable or the hard drive thermal sensor so now I have to order them.
Should a regular sata data cable work or should I look for the specific one to this model?
