Is there any good replacements for my 2233rz?
I bought it years ago because I was sick of the big space my CRT was taking, but I remember being disgusted at the shitty color quality of the 2233rz, but then again it was the only one doing 120hz.
Has technology progressed since then? I want at least 120hz, at least same input lag performance, and better color. Note that I am a high level quakeworld/quake 3 player so I am very sensitive to hz and input lag that is why I went for the 2233rz.

The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

Instead of trying to find ways to encourage activity they seem hell bent on doing the opposite. Just about every user who's joined since freeleech ended has fuckall buffer so it's not like they can really snatch anything. If they do snatch things it will never get them any upload back unless they're gaming the top 10. Even uploading new content doesn't get you anything most of the time. Most torrents only have a single seeder because of all this
Meanwhile staff is making it hard to get anywhere. They've basically confirmed they won't be doing picks, and even if they do the picks will probably be neutral leech instead of freeleech. The site has no proper economy yet and they're already finding ways to fuck it up worse than WhatCD
Oh and before you say I'm butthurt, I have plenty of buffer. I'm mainly pissed because staff is completely squandering the site's potential

What's the best laptop that costs less than $250? I'm trying to get something very cheap and underpowered to basically use as a tablet replacement, and after looking around picrelated seems like a good option, but I want /g/'s opinion.
>>57918337
Buy a $250 ThinkPad. Very cheap and powerful.
Profit.
Any questions?

I should've mentioned that I want something whose screen is smaller than 14" and whose battery lasts at least 6 hours
>>57918513
Get the asus e202
Or the Asus x205ta, the model before it , these two have the longest lasting battery lifes on the market
Is 11" too small for a laptop?
>>57918242
Yes
>>57918242
Plenty of netbooks used to be about 10'', so I guess it's somewhat usable.

How safe is Google drive?
Like will they scan my stuff and see how "illegal" it is and I'll get busted?
>uploading your cheese pizza to the botnet
yes you will get arrested even with RSA-2048
if you're worried about that either encrypt all your stuff before you upload it or just don't use cloud storage
Is it possible to make multiple google drive accounts to get around the 15Gb limit?
>>57918138
How do I encrypt my files? Sorry complete idiot here...
Look I'm really fucking sorry. I work a lot and don't sleep very well so no I can't really figure anything out on my own. I am going to make a shit thread.
I need a laptop that will fit in my bag so about 17 inches maximum but smaller is better because I'll be carrying it everywhere, and it has to be powerful enough for me to edit videos whatever the fuck that entails. The most I want to spend is 400 british pounds. I could probably get any shit but I don't want to be cunted off. Help? I don't blame you for not helping, that's fine. Go eat something man.

Is there a firefox add-on or something that I can configure so for example, it will only let me browse 25 4chan posts a day (read as any *.4chan.org URL's) before blocking the site for the rest of the day, or only browse five 4chan posts an hour before blocking the site for the rest of the hour or something?

will I eventually be smart enough to write my own script?

Why would you bother? If you're addicted to 4chan you'll only turn it off.
