Using Clean install Windows 10:
>Latest update broke control panel
>Cannot set default apps anymore
>Regedit to stop silent install apps does not work anymore
>Regedit changes are not honored by Windows anymore
>Two version of OneDrive (Windows/Office 365) clashing with each other
>Remove Metro apps, Store reinstalls them quietly
>No way to edit fonts and other metrics like Windows 7
>No way to edit the appearance of the OS aside from shitty color schemes
>Games give better fps on Windows 10, no choice but to use it
>Windows 7 and 8.1 cannot update anymore, no choice but to use it

Using Clean install Windows 7:
>Checking for updates for a week, still nothing
>Instantly notice graphic drivers undperforming for some reason
>Cannot install DirectX June 2010 Redist, constantly gives error
>DirectX and Visual C++ 2008/2010 clash with each other, Microshit never told users
>UI looks beautiful but without security updates and .NET framework cannot use Office 365 and other modern software
>Use WSUS to run updates, it stays stuck at listing ID's for updates for a week as well
>Manually install certain updates, Windows detects updates but system becomes unstable and constantly goes into a reboot loop with BSOD

Using clean Install Windows 8.1:
>Touchpad and control panel settings reset with each reboot
>Create new admin user, it has no privilege to right click on desktop icons
>Disk cleanup takes 8 hours and CPU/Motherboard heat up to 78C with fan going crazy
>Host of other glitches that have not been fixed despite years of updates
>UI is cancerous, Metro apps are garbage, Store does not work like Windows 10

Using Clean install Ubuntu 16.10:
>No Office 365, no gaymes
>Losing 50-70% of fps
>System is unstable, constantly throwing errors
>Wifi/Bluetooth not detected, forced to use ethernet on laptop
>Net keeps disconnecting for some reason
>System throws pci_fifo_underrrun errors on each reboot

Why are modern operating systems so shit?

Snowy Owl is the only 16 core Opteron.
Naples is 4 die MCM only.

Snowy Owl has a BGA package, so its clear that this isn't it.
WCCFtech can't get even simple facts straight.

Won't this be pretty based for workstations on the cheap?

When you don't really give a shit about the slightly lower single core performance, but the overall computing capability.

Guys, I need some suggestions.

I have 2 potential PC-builds and would like to know which one would be better.

1. Intel
Processor: I3-6100
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H
GPU: Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H
SSD: Crucial SSD MX300 275GB
Ram: Crucial DDR4 2x4GB 2133 CL15
PSU: Corsair PSU Builder VS450

2. Amd
Processor: FX-6300
Cooler: Coolermaster TX3 EVO (stock fan is just cancer)
Mobo: Asrock Pro9 R3 2.0
GPU: Saphire R9 280
SSD: Crucial SSD MX300 275GB
Ram: Kingston Hyper X Fury 1866 DDR3
PSU: be quiet! System Power 8 - 500W

just a few tips for you:

Never buy an SSD larger than 128GB,
SSDs are meant for fast access, not storage.

always go for a i5 2500k

when getting a PSU, add at least 100 watts to the max your parts would need, the AMD setup you posted needs at least 600W.

now quickly fade away, you will get smashed by >>/v/irgin haters soon.

lol
>>
>>57929499
Fuck off.
The amd build needs about 300-350watts. Get a 530w psu if you want to be sure.

Go for the amd build.

I bought a hard drive from walmart and it came with internal documents for kelloggs (the cereal company)

But the drive seems to be failing and I can't copy some of the files off of it

Wondering if anyone has any ideas/tools for copying the files from the drive, thanks
