im a first year comp sci student who slept through the entire first semester and now i have an assignment to make a text analysis program in c# and i dont even know where to start
here is the assignment
The program should report the following about a user input sentence:
Number of sentences entered
Number of vowels
Number of consonants
Number of upper case letters
Number of lower case letters
The frequency of individual letters
any advice on where to start other than to kill myself would be great

How does /g/ structure their data?
I'm gonna reorganize all my data, games, movies, etc., and reinstall Win 7 and two linux destros. I have a 120GB SSD (for win7) ,a 400GB SSD, a 2TB HDD and a 500GB HDD. Tips or thoughts on how to organize everything and where to put the linux distros (Only gonna give them 50GB each)?

Hey, anons. I posted in the stupid question general earlier about my crappy ISP and internet service, and new developments have taken place.
Basically, my internet goes up and down constantly for a few seconds to minutes at a time regardless of use or of weather. My ping is also jittery as hell at all times. This has only been happening for a month or two, although this is the second time that it has happened.
Anyways, a "technician" from my ISP came out, and said the problem wasn't on their end. He ran speedtest and plugged into my modem, claiming that the only reason the internet would go down is because I'm using all of my bandwidth- which doesn't make sense, considering how it goes down and that I'm pretty sure maxing out bandwidth would just cap speeds regardless. He then went on a spiel about upgrading my plan and all sorts of garbage about solar flares. What do you guys suggest I do?

Seems to be fuckery on your ISP's end. I called up mine about 3 weeeks ago to tell them I'm cancelling at the end of the month to switch ISP, my net has been shit ever since, dropping out every 20 or so minutes for the entire day.

Newfag here, I've had this problem for a year now and I'm fucking sick of it now.

>get internet back on
>PC says internet is connected but Steam shows no activity
>get on chrome to search, says no connection
>after a while I decide to uninstall network driver and restart
>it works
>I have to do this everytime to use the internet for downloads, porn, random shit
>no consistency, sometimes I can play online for hours before it randomly stops connecting, sometimes within 5 minutes
Any help this has been going on for a year now.
