Why dose windows rot over time?
It literally will slows down over time and get more shit.
mister errors that till make some programs impossible to run.
Every instance of windows degenerates in a different way.
Whats up with this why dose this even happen?
Do the log files chock the system over time who is constantly recording everything?
Is this intensional or is Ms this level of incompetent?
Where are you from OP?
> Whats up with this why dose this even happen?
Gimme that dose.
this level of incompetent.
but really, the os is 20 years old, it's not only rotting for you but for MS as well
and really, ALL os rot. Some os can be stopped like linux or bsd, some os rot slower like os x

That's a fine table, dude.
How can Linux even compete?
http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=netperf-bsd-linux&num=1
>>58107087
It has larger user base, more software, more distros and more support in general.
>>58107116
So it's technically shit but it's got all of those irrelevant non-technical "pros"?
Awesome! Serve me the shit then please, waiter!
>>58107116
So it can't? Good to know Linux is the Windows of the open-source world.
I don't really understand why you guys try so hard to be anonymous. Like, some of you are afraid to use Youtube because of
>muh google botnet
Like, just don't do anything wrong.

Holy shit, why didn't I think of that?!?!

So I researched the big gad hack that was made on linux mint.
From all the fuss /g/ game me I was thinking it was something like shell shock.
Apparently someone longed into their servers and replaced the real ISO with a modified one.
Whats the big deal?
Its not a hack or venerability in the OS.
Everyone can do this and this is the reason I utterly hate package managers (stay alone installer 4 life!).
If you are not getting your ISOs from torrents you deserver everything single thing you get for your retardation.
90% of /g/ are windowsbabbies from /v/ who will find any excuse to shit on Linux because they are underage and still have a tribal mentality.
The other 10% are NEETs who waste all their time using Arch, not because it's a superior operating system but because they have accomplished nothing in life so they chose an operating system that will flex their epeen.
>>58107164
Arch and other maximal autism distros are for bragging rights.
Its like they want to feel like uber hackers to show of their haxxor skills like taking 3 hours to configure a OS to even start in a DE.
They like the mystic of a hacker.

This was brought up in a thread yesterday. The same thing could have happened to any major distro maker. Ubuntu, Manjaro, Fedora. People want to use that as an excuse to shit on a polished and popular distro like Mint. Sure, Mint isn't everyone's cup-o-tea, but to denounce it because some faggots hacked them is ridiculous.
Does anyone have any sort of experience with cloud (i know) MS SQL server hosting?
I have looked at Azure but afaik it's unusable with any tier that's less than $30/month. I wonder if there are more affordable hosts elsewhere
My database wouldn't be too big, basically one table with 4-5 columns, but i expect 100+ clients accessing it every day, ~once per minute
Anyone went this shitty road to give some advices?
cmon, no one?

>My database wouldn't be too big, basically one table with 4-5 columns, but i expect 100+ clients accessing it every day, ~once per minute
You do realize that this is completely useless as it gives no details of the query. Anyways any cloud hosting is going to suck shit unless you pay actual money like you said, because the host will be horribly overprovisioned.
Guys, how can I extract the music from MP4 videos I have downloaded from Youtube?
I have a bunch of them. I was using VLC, but it only allows the conversion of one file each time.
>>58106982
>ripping shitty jewtube audio
you might as well record the audio coming out from your tinny logiturd speaker with your phone.
>>58107011
I can't find the songs anywhere else, tho.
It's serbian pop music, so not very popular.
Depends on audio format. If it's AAC you shouldn't leave that raw, it's designed to stay in a container.
If the audio is AAC either use MP4box to remux to MP4 without the video file, you can rename it M4A if you really want to tickle your asshole but it doesn't make a fucking difference.
You can alternatively use MKVToolsNix to remux to MKA (MKV sans video).
Either way, you just remux.
why don't they make linux just werk?
>>58106981
it does
>>58106999
Does not

ITT: ignorance, demonstrated by OP.
>why don't you install linux? gaming isn't an excuse
>but muh professional software
If I had to make up some stats based on what I read on the internet, the 98% of windows users are professional users whose lives depend on using some ultra specific program that isn't on linux. What do you think?

>What do you think?
I think you should kill yourself, dumb frogposter.

If they can be OC'd like the skylakes can be, that will be the new price/performance king.
I'm pretty sure everyone who knows about skylake non-K OC is wondering this question
Now its upto motherboard vendors to implement/bypass the intel restriction. ASRock, make it happen.
