What was your firs POS computer? Mine was the glorious 133Mhz Packard bell with 16MB of ram, 2GB HD, and Windows 3.11 For Workgroups. It didn't see it's prime until I finally got Windows 95 on it. Pic semi-related.

An Amstrad PC1640........it had the GEM OS on it.

Don't even know what my first computer was, I think it might have been either built by my dad or by some local company. Later we had a Packard Bell that didn't fucking work and then another build. My first personal machine was a Dell Latitude D400 second hand, have no clue of the specs tho.

How do I stop this?

When can we expect the announcement that this video player has stopped development?

What alternatives do we have?

Yes mpv has awesome features like:
- Popular high quality scaling algorithms.
- Accurate frame timing with reclock features.
- Perfect color management.
- ...

But there are still major problems:
- Old hardware have weird stutterings on windows with the angle backend.
- Some old hardware doesn't work with win and dxinterop backends.
- Tearing is still a problem on latest linux distributions!
- Some user scripts like stats.lua are messing video playback.
- ...

I can't advice it for windows users anymore. :(

mpv newfag here. How do I change settings? The manual says edit a config file that doesn't exist in the folder I downloaded (windows)
>>
>>58318971
You make a text file. type in your settings, change the filename to mpv.conf and save it in the folder where you have mpv.exe.
>>
>>58318971
You can download recent build here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpv-player-windows/files/

There is a .cmd file that create a mpv.conf file for you!
