>playing vidya on my Linux laptop via Steam in-home streaming from my desktop
>vidya stream cuts out
>W10 decided to reboot itself for updates
>fails to install updates for the 3 time this week
>spend 10 minutes watching my desktop reboot several times

Meanwhile I haven't had to reboot my laptop in six goddamn days and I install updates every day. Windows is a such a trash operating system, if it weren't for vidya, I would have deleted that partition ages ago.

Hey /g/

A Best Buy near me is selling an Asus Zenfone 3 Laser for $200. Looking at the specs of the phone, it's too good to pass up. But surely there must be a catch.

What should I look out for? What are some downsides to Asus phones?

Stock rom filled with shit and overheats a bit

I have a Zenfone 2 ZE551ML x86 with 4gb ram all that. Runs good. Best phone for emulators or was at least back when it released. The ZenUI kind of grew on me. I'm usually used to Nova Launcher (worth the money too). Camera is mediocre but passable. Speed is good. Features are pretty good. Mine was unlocked/root and has a dev community and roms. No clue about the laser or the Zenphone 3 series. The ZF3 Deluxe is one seksi phone tho. It's going to depend on what you care about most besides price.

I run it for the USE flags.

for what purpose?
>>
>>58489869
I use it because it's basically Arch without systemd and with a less faggoty community (fuck off weeaboo "ricers").
USE flags are nice but sometimes more of a hassle than anything, you don't really gain a whole lot by disabling xinerama support, for example.

It's still the best GNU/Linux distro and despite some stuff Portage is still a godly package manager so I keep using it.

greater than $100,000 for the lowest end
And it probably ranges to $5,000,000+ for the highest end.

>>58489787
It phones home to IBM. You get billed by the amount of CPU time you've used.

You pay for the hardware one time at acquisition if you buy the LinuxOne varriety.

It won't run z/System and IBM mainframe workl load though, just thousands of Linux VMs.

Just got my Note 3 Pro today. This shit is speedy.

Trying to unlock the bootloader so I can flash DirtyUnicorns or some other ROM that's not MiUI. Is the only option to unlock these phones is by doing this time consuming request for unlock permissions process or is there some other way?
