What's the best way to go about a W7 install nowadays?
I don't want to grab a shady image, ofc
There are good images available on private servers and use daz to authenticate.

They haven't killed off support for it yet.
Does /g/ have any experience with the TSA and watercooling systems?
>mini-itx Silverstone SG13
>Corsair h60
My new job gives me the opportunity to travel between europe and the USA, but I fear that the TSA could cause problems with my H60
>>58483367
Just buy a gaming laptop. Traveling with a desktop is pants-on-head retarded unless you will be in one place for a period of a year or more.
>>58483758
>>>/v/
you have to go back
>>58483367
>TSA
>carry-on desktop
No airline will provide the necessary space to carry-on the tower in the overhead. You're not even including the monitor.
If you check the luggage, TSA isn't an issue.
why aren't there good music player nowadays?
its so hard to find a music player that automatically levels the volume from one song to the other.
>>58483366
You can do that in AIMP
>>58483366
Have you tried looking?
I'm struggling to think of a player that does NOT include replay gain or volume normalizing
>>58484680
AIMP is hot garbage.
i like the mx master as it fits in my hand
Gimmick as fuck, but damn is it awesome to use.

I have a Xoami Redmi phone with Cyanogen mod on it.
A few minutes ago the App YSS asked for root permission out of the blue, I denied it root and then immediately after this Chinese app tried to install????
This was out of the blue? Where the fuck did it come from??
Why did this happen?
This app asked for root access moments before
>>58483305
There's clearly something wrong with your Cyanogenmod. You should find an official rom and reinstall.
What the FUCK is their problem?
>$200+ billion company
What problem?

It's one of those threads again. Guys I need some help in finding some resources for Programming concepts. Everybody keeps telling me that it's best to learn the concept first rather than learning a language, I've started getting some books in C and Java, but what I don't understand is these "concepts" everybody keeps talking about, is it like a rulebook or something? like a format on the proper way to code? I don't know where to start or look if somebody tells me about code structure, correct syntax, maintenance, etc. Is there any book that I should read first before learning a language?
Have you read your SICP today?
>>58483166
me on the right
>>58483181
No but I've heard of this before, I was thinking of buying it in Amazon/eBay but I was unsure if it was the right one, is this the only one I need? Should I get the 2nd version?
Found pic related chilling in a box.
Specs are as follows:
>Pentium M 1.76GHz
>1.25GB DDR2
>60GB 5400 RPM HDD
>some shitty integrated Intel GPU
What OS should I install on it?
>>58482995
Kali Linux
>>58482995
Something with Xfce, LXDE or LXQt probably.

Should I fall for the meme and install Gentoo?
Will I see a performance increase from any other distro?
why do you think sublime text is good/bad
proprietary trash.
Works well for me. There are plugins for everything.
Very comfy for C/C++
Hey g, is this a good deal for a file server?

Algebra class in high school let us use TI-83+
Aunt was a math teacher, gave me one
Class taught us very basic programming features, we all learned how to program a quadratic formula program in TI-BASIC
Seemed cool, wanted to add features to the program. Eventually had it show all the work, let you solve for a b or c or whatever, and moved the drawing from the regular home screen to the graph screen because it could make smaller letters
Basically through the entirety of high school I would be programming on my TI-83+ after that in all my classes
Im in need of a new phone and I want the one that has the best camera. Is the google pixel a meme? Thats the one im thinking about buying but Id like to hear your guys' opinions.
>>58482872
I have one. The camera is pretty great. It's crisp, the HDR works very well and snapping a picture is damn near instant. Battery life is good, 4-6 hours of screen on time.
Pixel>S7=v20=i7>xz>htc10>whatever chinkshit flagships I haven't mentioned
just buy a real camera and 100 dollar chink phone with great rom support; best of both worlds, quality camera and software updates
Ideally there would be a creative video section, but, since there isn't--
Is there FOSS and a corresponding community for video editing software?
One of the most awkward things to do in film, if done incorrectly, is text-messaging, and I'm wondering if anyone has a FOSS solution that'd basically add text messages in the style of House of Cards to the frame.
>>58482850
Anything FOSS is literally shit, so no
Oh what's that? The FOSS you are looking for doesn't exist. Sounds like you need to contribute and write it yourself. Oh and make sure you give everyone your code so they can fork it.
>>58482850
Believe it or not, Blender actually has a really nice video editor and compositioner (along with a lot of other really nice features unrelated to video).

In javascript I have a function that picks to random playing cards, either suited or not suited. It also randomizes what suit the cards are.
I have it so it picks the 2 cards (AKs=Ace King suited ect), then it adds a suit to the first card at random, checks to see if there is an "s" to symbolize suited and if there is adds the same suit to the second card and appends both cards images too the page.
Does anyone have any ideas about how I can make it so if the 2 cards selected are not suited, the 2nd card will be assigned a suit that is NOT the same as the first?
