Most custom kernels have SElinux permissive because Devs are retarded 5 year olds. Just try out different ROMs and kernels and use the one you like.

So i recently bought a board on ebay pic related , and i dont know if the board is faulty or if its some kind of hardware mess going on.
Could this be possible or i just paranoia

I'm a normie in C programming and generally any advance programming and I have never before used dynamic allocation (I usually just copy it from stackoverflow if I need something).

Can someone point me to a good online tutorial or an explanation of pointers and dynamic allocation in C ? My collage lectures so far have gone too much in depth on the topic so although I get the concept and all the details and still can't use them in real life programming

I had some homeworks and so far I had at some points I had to :
>Make a dynamic array
>Make a dynamic matrix (2d array)
> Make a dynamic string

I managed to somehow do the array and matrix by modifying some string overflow snippets I found but the string thing is killing me. At one point I need a structure/function that would read what the user is inputting and create a dynamic string as he types characters in

Can someone elaborate

>>
>>60301403
are u retarded?
dynamic string is 2 fields in a struct, one for length and one for pointer to allocated memory.
and u need one function called write which checks if curr len + len of data u want to write > curr size then realloc.

I'm beginning to code on a game (this is my first complex game I'm developing) and I was wondering if my methodology is sound and will not incur major difficulties along the way.

The game is a basic 2D puzzle game kind of like tetris but with physics based objects. The approach I am going about programming the code is by sectioning each parts of the game by methods:

initializeGame()
generateBlocks()
removeBlocks()
processInput()
updateScore()
and etc.

Is this the proper way to go about programming a game? I thought I had to use a bunch of OOP and shit,
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>60301341
It's an extremely simple game. You're not likely to need OOP for anything this basic.
>>
>>60301380

When does OOP usually come into play?
>>
>>60301687
not the prev anon

>when using OOP
Depend on coding style.
for example in Tetris, for each object
you can create 1 base class to create other game objects

but then again, I prefer procedural method since I don't like all the objects mangling with each other

There's no reason to buy an iMac or console anymore.

so now your pc is $450, which is the same realm as a console.

First I should give a big warning about the Local Nyaa Client that another anon made. That wasn't the full source code, it really shouldn't be trusted. If not because it isn't the full source code, it wasn't put on a proper repository like Github. (It wouldn't have been removed for TOS, seriously go look at my repository i got something special there)
>>60249331

Here are sources you can trust online without downloading anything.
>nyaa (period) pantsu (period) cat
>sukebei (period) pantsu (period) cat
>nyaarchive (period) moe/
>horriblesubs (period) info
>extratorrent (period) cc

Worried about being tracked or your ISP watching you or even possibly selling your data. Here are some actual things you can use that are trust worthy unlike a lot of you think.
>hidemyass (period) com/
>hide (period) me/
>torproject (period) org/

Not sure which torrent client to use or looking for a new one? Here are my personal favorites that are open source as well. Both are highly configurable and work for any setup.
>transmissionbt (period) com/download/
>qbittorrent (period) org/
A big piece of advice is to also set your torrent client to Require Encryption (See Screenshot)
Really the main part of this post was for the Nyaa Local Client warning but I thought I would let people who may not know safe torrenting how to do it.

this
i got two industrial ppc fans for my corsair h100i, it went from being a turbine to being silent even under 100% cpu load. they're not a meme, they're pretty good.
>>
>>60300862
This >>60301012

Also, buy a new CPU cooler if you're still using the stock one or if the fan on yours is smaller than 120mm. If you're already using an aftermarket cooler and it's still too loud consider replacing the fans, for instance if you have a Hyper 212+ you could replace the stock fan with a Gentle Typhoon or a Noctua.

If the GPU is your issue you're probably not going to get away without spending a lot of money to make it quiet.
