Why is it that I immediately lose a certain amount of respect for someone when I see that their phone is cracked
It's always iPhone users too. I've never seen an Android user with a cracked screen.
>>60280127
Clumsy and have no respect for the near 1000 dollar piece of tech their parents lilkely paid for
If it's a shitty android or then it doesn't really bother me.
Because you're a judgemental retard who takes delight in the one thing he can say he does better than someone else.

This man is a true genius and the most valuable Google engineer. He's like a God at Google and not even the CEO would go against him. He literally made Google what it is today and wrote/worked-on all of their most important software stacks. He's worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Now, notice something interesting:
He doesn't have two, three or four monitors and he doesn't have some gigantic TV screen that kills your focus and distracts him from everything important.
He's not distracted by having a phone out on his desk, because he doesn't use such technology as a lifeline like consumerist millennial do who'd literally die without their phone.
He doesn't have some bullshit meme mech keyboard with some special switches that were forged by elves in Japan from katana-grade steel and lights that emit perfect sRGB colors.
He doesn't have some tricked out text editor with million different features and colors.
He doesn't run some super-autistic Linux distro like Arch that demands you babysit it all the time.
He doesn't have some DE with customized CSS US that you usually see in tons of threads on here.
He didn't even change the default theme, colors or the default background.
He can afford all that shit, yet he doesn't waste his time on it. Instead, he writes 100x more lines of code than you and is 1,000,000x more accomplished than you'll ever be. And he's infinitely smarter than you'll ever be.
So quit falling for fucking memes and quit craving all the latest bullshit that gets posted on here in these cancerous consumerist "generals" threads. Mark my words, and this is coming from a professional: there's nothing more pathetic than consumers who think having multi-monitor setups makes them productive.
Yet he still looks like a fucking nerd lmao
what a tech illiterate lmao, bet his code is all pasted from stack overflow

This man is a true genius and the most valuable TempleOS engineer. He's like a Prophet at ThempleOS and not even the CIA nigger would go against him. He literally made TempleOS what it is today and wrote/worked-on all of their most important software stacks. He's worth tens of hundreds dollars.
Now, notice something interesting:

My CIA nigga
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pueh5IcRi2U
Lol i can feel the condescension oozing out of my dual monitor set up. As a fellow 'professional' I can attest to the productivity capabilities of a multi monitor set up. I like having two monitors so I can have long scripts on a vertical and output/trees/ all the other bullshit on my customized Arch os. Arch takes babysitting but lets you strip the bs and get the most out of hardware. How about you just let people do what they want and step off your soapbox?
I liked his videos when he was coding low level OS details while ranting about CIA aliens, but now he's shouting slurs at passing black men and being supervised by his dad while preparing food. It's not really funny anymore.
So, hello, /g/. The net neutrality debate seems to be coming around again with the new FCC chairman, Ajit Pai, announcing to make a new decision to potentially reverse the FCC's net neutrality commitment on May 18.
Like last time, I have to humbly admit that I do not have the clearest idea of what actually is at stake here. Of course, the "idea" of net neutrality makes intuitive sense, prohibiting ISP's from slowing down speed for certain types of traffic, which could be used to impede competitor's internet traffic or even free speech.
However, the other side has convincing arguments on their side as well. Most conservative sources, such as the WSJ, that typically favor the functioning of the free market much more than liberals do, are outspoken that "net neutrality is burdensome government interference" and would destroy the free market. How could this possibly be?
So, in general, can we have an informed discussion on net neutrality? I think this is one of the most important discussions we could possibly be having in our modern age where modern technology and privacy are increasingly at odds.
>>60299423
> can we have an informed discussion
you sure forgot were you are for a moment, didn't you?
>>60299423
>Most conservative sources, such as the WSJ, that typically favor the functioning of the free market much more than liberals do, are outspoken that "net neutrality is burdensome government interference" and would destroy the free market. How could this possibly be?
Those sources stand to benefit from ending net neutrality. There's a very clear conflict of interest here.
>>60299541
I imagine it's an ideological thing, as not every writer for such newspapers can making money off of net neutrality going away. I think it's more likely they're just cucked ideologically somehow.

I want to blow 30 euros and have been looking at Android Boxes, especially since they may become Illegal to sell in the EU.
I am not that interested in streaming channels like sky but it would be nice, what I would really like to do is have a smart TV that gives me more freedom to do what I like.
Mainly I want to use it to watch Anime and Movies off my external hard drive.
So any advice?
Suggest Model?
Cool things you can do with it?
Pros?
Cons?
Should I bother?
>>60299101
It's not illegal to sell them by itself, it's illegal to sell them with torrenting addons preloaded. And a 30€ box is going to suck, check out the Xiaomi MI Box instead, it's very good or just use a Raspberry Pi

hey /g
I have this c++ project
I'm not asking for any solutions,
I just need to pass this course cause I'm repeating it and already wasted 3 years in community college- failed all(fml right?)
Just could anyone point me out tips to the hard parts?
thank you in advance
Uni is currently using three parking areas to accommodate the staff, faculty and students cars. Each parking is supervised by two guards who try to park the cars according to their arrival and leaving time. The parking guards are complaining about the inefficiency and the waste of time that they spend each day trying to organize the cars in each parkings . You are approached by the uni administration to implement a system to help in organizing the three parkings and minimizing the wasted time spent in searching for a parking slot. Your solution should take into consideration the following constraints:
Each parking opens from 8:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. The first parking (B- biggest parking area), can accommodate 15 cars in a column The second parking (M- middle parking area), can accommodate 10 cars in a column The first parking (S- smallest parking area), can accommodate 5 cars in each column The first row in each parking is reserved for the faculty and staff Each parking has the same number of rows per column To park you should specify the parking area as B, M, or S and the parking time. The system will check for the availability. If a parking slot is available the system will allow the user to park his car. If not, the system will redirect the user to another parking. If no parking slot is available at the three parkings the system will ask the user if he would like to park in a column reserved for cars that leave at a later time. The user may not choose to park at a time earlier than the one he/she specified at the beginning. The system should provide the following information about the three parkings: The total number of parked cars at a specific hour The number of parked cars in each parking The number of available parking slots View the three parking area. The number of rejected parking request
