I've been working out every day for almost 8 months now and I haven't seen any change in my butt.

I do a lot of cardio, running 40kms+ a week and do hill sprints monday/thursday as well as donkey kicks, normal squats, squat kicks, jump squats and fire hydrants. I've become much stronger and toned but I still have no ass whatsoever :/.

I'm mtf so I spoke to my doctor about this because I was concerned my hormones could be causing it but was told that wouldn't be the problem.

What am I doing wrong?

Actually correct. Variety doesn't matter. What matters is getting strength. Any strength gained doing good compound movements can be used for other movements as well. Hence variety is bullshit from the fitness industry.

Another meme from the industry, to ensure that you don't spend too much time in the gym and require twice as much time to get to your goals. It'll take most people twice as much time before they eventually give up, and that's twice the money.

See the above, it's the same thing: machines require you to spend up to 5 times the time in a gym when you could do simple compound movements with free weights. It's alsi safer for noobs and companies to have failproof machines, and you don't need much training to tell people how to use a machine, whereas teaching people to lift a barbell requires much more knowledge and experience.

Hey /fit/, I was wondering if you guys had any advice for a fag looking to join the Army in terms of conditioning and exercise.

I need to lose weight and then tone up. I'm going in for Army Medic but I can't sign the dotted line until I meet physical standards.

I've been doing my own routine, push-ups, crunches, running, etc. But I was wondering if there was anything I could do to condition myself for boot camp specifically.
