Hey /fit/

Anyone use a fitness tracker? I'm mostly interested in measuring tracking my heart rate during cardio, but in most of the poorfag ones I've found so far, the heart rate monitoring is more for sleep tracking.

Most of the other bells and whistles of fitness trackers don't really appeal to me - my phone takes care of GPS, I can eyeball my calories reasonably well, and I could live without a pedometer. All I want is to get a sense of how hard I'm kicking my ass (or not) when cycling hard.

They all suck and have shitty HR monitors. They pretty much all come with a disclaimer that the HR monitor isnt actually accurate. There are some class action lawsuits going on right now.

Hey guis, so I just started going to the gym right?

I tried picking the one that wouldn't have a lot of ghetto people in it, I was wrong. LA fitness should never had added a basketball court.

Anyways my question to you is, how do I avoid looking at the ghetto booties? Seems every girl in there, white, black, Hispanic, Asian etc has a nice fat ass. I can't focus for shit when it's jiggling right in front of me!

As a virgin, how do I cope?
I feel like canceling my membership because of this ;_;

I've followed heavy meditation routines in the past, currently working on getting serious again.

Meditation is not a panacea - but it does work. It's another tool for your toolbox, not a cure all. While calm abiding is useful to keep up the stoic face, I've found that the breath control you learn through meditation is extremely useful.

It's 10 minutes a day to start. Give it those 10 minutes a day for a month and see how you feel.

/fit/, why do I have high blood pressure? I'm a 23 y.o. male, 6'2", 205lbs, I do cardio 2-3 times per week for about 40 minutes, lift regularly, and eat fairly well. What gives?

Well, it isn't too high. Just see if you can up your cardio some and possibly lower your sodium intake a bit. Over 140/90 is when you're at risk of their being problems.
