or go to your local home depot/lowes and lift the concrete bags. They start at 40/60/80 for squats and diddlys
>>36478860
The only thing that seems to be poor is your motivation!
>>36478868

i think not stopping to smell women's clothing is the least of your worries
Do you guys think bent over rows or squats or other indirect core work is sufficient enough to build a great set of abs (after a cut) or do you think ab isolation exercises are nessicary for adequate ab development?
I think you should do the maximum, not the minimum, my man.
isolations, do NOT fall for the "compounds will work the abs enough" meme, take the extra 10-15 minutes every other workout to ensure you have what you want, compounds build CORE STRENGTH and NOT AB DEFINITION, major differences that will fuck your desired physique up if you choose to ignore them
What weighted ab exercises are the best and hit all of or the majority of your abs?

Welp, no turning back now.
Let's go.
I thought most recruiters get you on some program to get you ready

How many calories does a typical 1 hour PPL session burn?
How do you even find out how many calories lifting burns, for that matter?
The amount of calories that your body burns while inactive is referred to as your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Since exercising makes you active, using your BMR to determine how many calories you need to consume daily is a bad idea.
Instead, you should use Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), which accounts for how much activity you perform daily.
To calculate your TDEE, use http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html
You will never be 100% accurate when it comes to determining how many calories your burn daily, but TDEE is the most simple and accurate method of getting close.
Once you have calculated your TDEE, add 500 and eat that many calories daily to bulk, or subtract 500 and eat that many calories to cut. Of course, you may also maintain your current weight by eating exactly your TDEE.
Whenever your weight changes by 5 pounds, you should recalculate your TDEE and your daily caloric intake to reach your fitness goals in the most efficient manner possible.

Yes obviously I know this. I am asking a specific question.
what happens if i call cheng
Anyone ever tried this? Is this shit good for bulking?
>>36478149
eat food skele
Why aren't you eating big anon?
>>36478188
I do actually. I'm just afraid that i'm getting too much calories and not enough protein. For one scoop it has like 500 calories and around 15g of protein.
Hey /fit/, I have a problem.
I'm 25/male and have absolutely zero sex drive. None. Nothing. No sexual urge whatsoever. I don't masturbate, I don't get elections, I don't fantasize, I don't list after attractive women, etc. Thing is, I know it's not low test because my gains are just fine. I don't have diabetes or anything either.
I'm also not worried, because to me this is convenient. I don't have to waste time and money chasing that primal urge to get my dick wet. I look down on normie breeders with pity. People are completely reasonable until sex is involved, at which point their IQ drops 50 points and they become retarded animals. I enjoy being above that. It's a clear advantage.
I've never met anyone like me, though. What's “wrong“ with me? Is anyone on /fit/ in the same boat as me?

>I don't get elections

Anybody else have stretchmarks? How do we prevent or treat our tiger stripes

Got my 1st in the same spot. View it as proof you've made gains too fast for your skin to keep up.
>>36477912
Yeah that's how I look at it, I guess they're only shameful if they're from being fat
1. don't rapidly gain weight
2. there is no treatment for stretch marks.
Would you guys smash? They're 17. Also, how do I get my chest bigger? I've been stuck at 50 lb dumbbells for a while.
>>36477815
Would smash the girls on the ends

So I know you utter sperglords love to obsess over the manlet shit. So instead of going out and actually conversing with people, how about debating this topic.
Shoe lifts.
I'm not a small guy in the real world of actually talking and interacting with people. I'm 5'11. But in the world of 4chan I'm a manlet. But for around $20 I can reach the magic 6'1 or 6'2 mark.
Bear in mind there are stupid cunts who spend $50k on breaking their own legs to gain that height. You can do the same thing with twenty bucks of rubber.
And of course, The King is renowned for using them. Reported height 6'2, but he's 5'9 at best.
So, thoughts? Anyone used them? Good brands?
Most shoes already add an inch or two, add more will make you look weird
>>36477170
yeah i'm 5'7 and my gym shoes make me 5'8 or 5'9 and even that makes me look a little bit weird
>>36477124
>So, thoughts? Anyone used them?
I'd use the ones that are adjustable and meet a girl at the highest setting then adjust lower every other meeting until I got back to my original height.

Is there any major detriment to eating literally only chicken, broccoli, and brown rice? Plus some butter/oil for cooking and a multivitamin.
Like, I won't get scurvy or anything will I? Would oats be a better choice then brown rice?
Webm related, Alizee is always related.
I saw a documentary where a dude ate potatoes for 7 months. Can't remember how it ended. I think he made it home on a rocket ship.
>>36477014
I can't be arsed to find the study, but supposedly people who ate a split of brown/white rice were healthier than those who ate just brown or just white.
If you've got a good multi and you're taking fish oil, you'll be fine. The only detriment is psychological - eating the same thing every day can get taxing.
Learn to cook, learn to season your food. Once you've locked down a couple decent chicken/broccoli preparations then branch out:
>Lean proteins
Chicken thigh, tilapia, catfish
>Fatty proteins
Salmon, beef
>Vegetables
Anything related to broccoli - cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage, etc
>Starches
White rice, brown rice, sweet potatoes
Get on your probiotic game (yogurt/kimchi/kefir/kombucha/supplements/etc) and you'll be riding the gains train.

A mistake I see far too many guys and gals falling into when they are just starting out or even coming back after a long hiatus, is getting onto a routine that is intended for intermediates and often times advanced lifters not a beginner.
Many times these are what are referred to as “brosplits” that train different body parts each day in the gym. Not only are these programs sub-optimal for someone just starting out they can even sometimes be counterproductive, overwhelming muscle groups that aren’t ready for that kind of strain.
You will be far better served getting onto a strong novice routine. These often times consist of a full-body workout which, generally speaking, you’ll perform three days a week.
After a solid 6 months to one year of consistently training, you may then start to looking into splits like an Upper/Lower or possibly a Push, Pull, Legs.
Go and there and get it.
i started a split 6 months in. it's been about 6 months since then and i've made good gains, go away
