As for me, I've been going to a 24 hour gym at 2AM for the past 7 years now, and one of the weirdest things I've seen by far is this guy who comes in, and sits down in the most isolated section of the gym with a block of cheese in his backpack. The guy sits there, and looks like he's either praying, or is psyching himself up. Couldn't be bothered to ask. Not sure what the cheese' role on this ritual was, but I don't think he eats it. He hasn't been to the gym in a very long time, so it's just one of many weird shit that I've seen.
Another one worth mentioning is this black kid who showed up several years ago. The guy would literally come in and bleed on the few equipment he actually used. All he came in to do was incline bench press and curls. Didn't really bother me because he stood away from me in his own little corner, and I never touch the stuff he touched since I'm a germophobe and I make sure I use sanitary wipes before and after I use any equipment. There was also plenty of weights for both him and I to use so whatever he used I never touch. I told the owner about it about a month after I noticed he wasn't there anymore and the owner looked at the security camera, and threw out the equipment he used.

It's great. Theres a reason they call us the 'worlds fittest athletes' and it's not because we're doing bench press for 5 sets of 5 and taking 4 minutes in between sets
