I was running past an abandoned factory in Serbia very early in the morning in summer, looked to the grass verge beside me and saw a huge black dog guarding a white horse

That's what happens when you're black
/fit/ I'm sick and tired.
I'm sick of being a fucking pussy with girls, I'm sick of being a shy boring guy who can't flirt with girls. I see uglier and dyel guys getting laid while I never get any pussy because I'm an autist. All the gains in the world wont get you laid if you are shy and autistic. I've tried reading up on PUA and red pill, but nothing helps. I guess some of us are born to be shy beta guys
Fuck this shit

if you're serious about changing your life, OP, the first thing you would do is to stop visiting this site regularly. Start going out.
What brought you here /fit/? How bad did she destroy you that fitness became your life?
Didn't destroy me, just gave me the clarity that I can do better
just a FAT FUCK who's GONNA make it
>>36904836
She rejected me and was super nice about it, then I overheard her telling all her friends about the 'fat freak stalker' and I fell into depression and completely lost my mind and became the joke of the school. I completely blamed it on being fat (I was a typical 'nice guy neckbeard' minus weaboo shit). Once I made it, I finally realised that being a fat fuck was just part of it and no lifting to hide the autism and lack of self worth at the core of my soul. Lifting brings me nothing, yet I am addicted to it. If I don't lift I feel like shit yet when I lift I feel like I accomplish nothing.
Any longhair fags over here?
>pic related, its me
To keep it fitness related, how long did it take you to deadlift 4 plates?
I've been working out for 2 months, and on my first day doing deadlifts I got up to 3 plates, guessing if I continue maybe another 2-3 or so months till 4 plates?

desu tho i have found squatting 2d/w works well for me
Was doing highbar squat earlier.
On one of my sets my grip looked like the bottom grip. What would have caused this? Got no vids unfortunately.
Also, is slight good morning okay aslong as my bar path stays vertical?
How to get pancake split/stretch?
Cant even open legs more than 90 degrees (sitting straight up)

2nd for benis
To the lads discussing how to make Candiddler's bench programming better, do this: replace week 1-3's benching with the MWF portion of Smolov Jr, starting with about a 90% training max and adding five pounds a week.
I feel like there's a huge divide among the /fit/ community.
>FACE HEIGHT FRAME and lifting for girls.
vs.
>Lifting to because you love it and to better yourself.
Why is this? Zyzz would be ashamed of you guys.

I'm trying to recover from drug addictions and lifting is the best way I know to feel normal. Cardio also helps.

Any grills here on birth control pills?
I've never tried them but want to start, but I'm afraid of the consequences on my lifts. I know they often
- Make you gain more fat
- Harder to gain and retain muscle
But are these effects still small enough that it's worth it? What are your experiences with them? How did they affect your exercise?

Fuck you I wear a sleeveless hoodie at times. Its comfortable and it lets me zone out the pathetic betas.
But moving past that
>people who fucking sit on the squat rack longer than they use it.
>curlers on the squat rack
>people who use chalk on a 135lb deadlift
>women who walk around in leggings and barely workout or break a sweat just want guys to mire
Can't wait to quit bodybuilding.
Cancelled my gym membership, sold my home gym, and threw away all of my supplements.
Such a waste of time. And for what? It's completely unnecessary and serves no purpose.
Muscles are not needed, especially in today's society where the intellect, personality, and face reigns supreme.
To be honest, the "bodybuilding lifestyle" seems almost like a childish endeavour at this point, and I don't mean any disrespect, but it seems like the most serious lifters (asides from guys who are legit bodybuilders/fitness models/elite athletes but they represent a very low % of dedicated lifters) are also the people with nothing else going on in their lives.
I know this was true with me, I was biggest and most serious about lifting when I was still in uni, working only 15 hours a week, and pretty much just plucking around all the time, going out, with no real responsibilities.
The most jacked guys I see are baby faced roiders trying to pick up ugly girls in the clubs, and frat boys who have no job and don't give 2 fucs about school so they spend all their time in the gym.
I'll GLADLY go back to being a 200lb 6'3 weakling or a "non-lifter" or whatever derogatory term you guys want to throw at me, but I don't care. I'll be proud. I can eat whatever I want and finally free up my mind to do what's important in life.
To all you kids out there who are getting sucked into the bodybuilding and fitness illusion, try to stop yourself.
So long as you have and maintain decent facial aesthetics, you'll be fine.
Bodybuilding's just not worth it.
Cheers.
Tasty pasta.
I'm not reading all this text faggot.
>implying I take roids
I used to go to the gym every night after working in the oilfield for 100 hours a week. You just sound like a weak willed faggot. A 40 hour work week aint shit.
How much do you sleep a night, /fit/?
Has it increased your gains?

>Klokov says he skips breakfast all the time – he prefers to sleep in to make sure he’s well-rested instead. Ilya shares the sentiment, as he also often skips breakfast, or even goes to the gym totally hungry. He thinks sleep is the highest priority.

Is 1pl8 overhead press the natty limit?
Obviously not, unless you're suggesting that kid is on gear
>>36909639
Nah I OHP 1pl8 at 5'10 175lbs, wasn't even close to natty limit
The natty limit does not exist.
In your opinion, what are the BEST excercises for each of the following muscle groups?:

What are you doing to improve yourself, fit?
>last year, pick up The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up
>Adopt minimalism, get rid of tons of useless crap
>Room is finally clean
>Try nopoo, not for me, but lowpoo has been a big improvement
>Start digitizing and depapering everything
>Clean up and delete a bunch of useless crap on my PC
>Delete old emails, organize inbox, inbox zero
>Get more organized with various productivity apps (mainly Google Keep and OneNote for me, lots of options though)
>Listen to more music, find lots of cool new artists
>Start budgeting and tracking my finances, realize how much I'm spending on food
>Switch my food spending and diet, scale goes down, bank account goes up
>Cut the taxi habit, go back to primarily biking for transport, also add walking to work/school when time allows
>Remove facebook and other time-wasting apps from my phone, more engaged with what I'm doing, immortal battery
>Cut down drastically on time spent on facebook, reddit, youtube, etc., visit /fit/ more
>Get more active on okcupid and tinder, meet more women.
>Start working out again, more weight loss and endorphins
>Gonna start C25K soon
>Going overseas for summer to focus more on self-improvement, meet more new people, pick up another language, have more time for myself.
been a good year /fit/. What're you doing to make yourself a better, stronger, smarter person with more time, money, and happiness?
>>36906968
sounds like you finally became an adult. want a pat on the back?
>learning Chinese atm
>getting back into running/basketball since I noticed my conditioning was dogshit
>rethinking my training and my mindset with regards to lifting
>thinking about what I want in life/the future, and what I can do to achieve that, having long talks with good friends about this
Next up, start meal planning, cleaning up some of the bullshit in my room once my thesis is done, start reading lots again, and enjoying life.
Any suggestions? Deleting facebook, etc. is a good idea btw.
>>36907028
Good luck with the 中文 bro, but I hope you have free time. Having nothing to do but study Chinese for two years (3 hours of classes a day, plus self-study, plus speaking in Chinese with native friends), in country, is the only reason I became half-way competent. I kinda recommend against it, since it's not particularly useful desu (you don't want to live in a Chinese speaking country, Chinese media is generally shit, and %99 of Chinese people doing business internationally speak English)
>think about what I want in life/the future
so much this. This is what drove me to pick up minimalism, and it's one of the big reasons I've seen such big improvements in my life lately--instead of goals being mostly aimless things I want to do, now they largely consist of things that drive me further to getting what I want out of life.
I forgot to mention one big thing I've found and decided to orient my life around is FIRE--Financial Independence/Retire Early. See http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2012/01/13/the-shockingly-simple-math-behind-early-retirement/ . Knowing what I want is letting me focus my energy and actually feel accomplished; not that I actually have much money to start saving atm. Part of budgeting and tracking my finances has been to move from living month-to-month to budgeting for my expenses ahead of time; now I have money in my account a month ahead for things like rent, and save up over time for big things, instead of spending money as it comes in. Much less stressful, and saves money in the long run
