My elbows have started to become more pointy recently.. Is this a GH thing? I have been trying IF lately and i hit the sauna alot. But can that actually cause GH increases so large that i am getting these bone structure effects?

How do you take care of your muscles and joints?

What do you do for the health and maintenance of your muscles ?

How often do you lift and how often do you stretch, foam roll ?

Do you have a stretching or mobility routine?

I'm so tired of injuries and being sore and I am slowly coming to the conclusion that maybe lifting heavy weights is not the end of all and that there is more to having a good, healthy body.

Any mil fitizens here want to give advice for getting better at long marches with heavy loads? I absolutely suck at stomping, or rucking as you Americans call it. It shits me to no end seeing cunts who I regularly smoke in PT and weight training over take me with ease on long marches. They even manage to have conversations and laugh while I can barely keep my head up and breath. I have good cardiovascular endurance but as soon as Im weighed down it goes out the window. What can I do to improve it? Its obviously not a cardio vascular problem. Where does the key strength lie?

I mean... Until you have enough money for a rack and a bench a barbell is fairly useless on its own...You'll be able to do deadlifts and powercleans, some bicep work. But you'll be limited on squat because you'll have to clean it onto your back and you really do need a bench of some sort for bench press.

I'd invest in a small set of dumbbells and save up to get a power rack, barbell, and bench. Should be able to find it for 500 bucks or so on craigslist.

I'm on the scooby dumbbell home gym routine.

I've been doing a lot of research on fish oil capsules and I can't seem to find any kind of consensus.

I'm thinking of starting keto soon and was wondering how this looks https://i.gyazo.com/c5c2ecef8650fc2455775e8394654350.png

To my understanding it's:
1341 not lifting
1641 when lifting
129 g protein per day
98 fat per day
25 carb limit per day
Is this correct?
If so what does the 1,495 daily calorie number represent?
My goal isn't so much to lose weight but to look better by losing fat.
I'm following the 5x5 stronglifts routine with some bicep, back, and tricep stuff mixed in.
For cardio I usually play basketball once or twice a week.

Any tips?

Honestly, I would forget the keto thing all together. It's difficult and pointless and for fat people.

Put 100g of carb at your max and fill the rest with fats. Despite what they say, you actually need carbs for energy. Aim for low GI ones (sweet potato, brown rice, nuts, oats) if you are concerned.

Protein looks fine. Hard to say if we don't know your height and weight.

1425 daily calories represents a loss of approximately 1 pound lost a week for the average person, I'd say.

Cardio probably won't make much of a difference physically but do it for socialising and endorphin stuff I guess.

How often are you going to go to the gym?

Hey /fit/, so we all know what biceps and triceps are.

Assuming "bi" means 2, and "tri" means 3, that leads to the existing of the FIRST muscle. I dont know where it is or how to call it ("uniceps" or "singleceps"), but I know it MUST exist.

And if there's a muscle, I need to learn how to train it.

I've had weight issues all my life. I've tried different diets and exercises but never got the willpower to maintain them more than two months.

Now, I'm 32 and my weight is about 250 pounds and on top of getting worried about my health (when I was younger it didn't seem a like a big issue to me), I just got a new gf and realized I have more boobs than her.

That thought is really motivating and I now realize how much of an idiot I was during all these years. This time is the good one, I'm gonna lose that extra weight and stay healthy for good.

There's something that's bothering me though: during my past tentatives, I noticed my manboobs never really diminished. I've read a little about it on the web and found a few exercises that should help but I'd like to read your take on this.

What's the most effective way of getting rid of manboobs? Will I need any specific training material? Money isn't an issue but I would really like to avoid surgery (which is pretty much the only thing my doctor recommended me).
